This 2003 Mercedes-Benz E55 AMG was sold new by a dealer in Florida and first registered in Colorado where it remained until the selling dealer's acquisition in September 2025. The car now resides in California and has only 56k miles from new. Finished in Brilliant Silver Metallic (744) over Charcoal Nappa Leather (251), power is provided by a supercharged 5.4-liter V8 mated to an AMG-enhanced five-speed automatic transmission driving the rear wheels. Factory equipment includes a power tilt/slide glass sunroof, heated multicontour front seats, four-zone automatic climate control, and a Harman/Kardon audio system. Service in preparation for the sale includes new rear Michelin tires, fuel pump, and front tie rods. This 2003 E55 AMG is now offered for sale by the selling dealer with a clean Carfax report and a clean California title.
The body is finished in Brilliant Silver Metallic (744) and features AMG bodywork including a sculpted front air dam, side skirts and rear apron. Exterior features include a power tilt/slide glass sunroof, rain-sensing wipers, remote central locking and quad-exit stainless steel AMG exhaust tips. The car is believed to retain all original paint with no accidents or damage showing on the Carfax report.
OEM staggered 18” AMG Cromodora double-spoke alloy wheels are fitted with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires measuring 245/40 up front and 265/35 in the rear. The rear tires are new with 2025 date codes and the front show 2020 date codes. Braking is handled by eight and four piston AMG calipers which are painted silver with black AMG lettering. The AMG-tuned Airmatic Dual Control air suspension provides adjustable ride height and stiffness with photos provided showing the car at both height settings. Service within the last month includes new front tie rods along with the new rear tires. The front brake pads were reportedly replaced in 2023, while the rear brake pads were replaced in August 2024.
The AMG seats are upholstered in Charcoal Nappa Leather (251) with matching black AMG floor mats and Black Bird’s Eye Maple wood trim which lines the center console, dash and door panels. A hairline crack is noted on the ash tray cover. Both front seats are heated with multicontour adjustment and position memory. Additional amenities include a power tilt/telescope steering column, a power rear sunshade, four-zone automatic climate control and a 12-speaker Harman/Kardon Logic7 surround sound system.
The AMG multifunction steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer with a central digital display along with a 7k-rpm tachometer, an analog clock and digital gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature. The digital odometer currently shows just under 56k miles from new.
The hand-built supercharged 5.4-liter M113k V8 is factory rated for 469 horsepower and 516 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through an AMG-enhanced 722.6 five-speed automatic transmission. The supercharger belt, pulley, and belt tensioner pulley were reportedly replaced in 2023. Additionally the car received a new auxiliary battery, fuel pump relay, air filter, and oil change in August 2024. Most recently, a new fuel pump and front tie rods were installed in preparation for the sale.
The Carfax report shows Colorado registration from new with linear mileage updates. A total of 31 service history records are shown with no accidents or damage reports appearing on the Carfax. This 2003 E55 AMG is now offered for sale by the selling dealer in California with a clean Carfax report and a clean California title.
Videos of the car have been provided below showing a walk around, engine idling, active air suspension, interior view, and driving footage of the car.

@Yeezers brakes are perfect, it is only how I drive :) they have been replaced last year by previous owner, you can read that showing on the CarFaxWhen have the brakes been replaced last? The brake rotors seem to have deep grooves.A rare and well-preserved W211 E55 AMG — nearly impossible to find in this mileage and condition today. More than $6,000 recently spent on maintenance and repairs ensures this supercharged classic performs as good as it looks. There are literally fewer than five comparable examples available nationwide, and none come close to this mileage or level of care.$16,000 bid placed by @Yeezers
@dorelsuboni NO symptoms on the car, I washed it on a weekend drive and the Brake service warning was on, took it to Mercedes Foothill Ranch and they inspected the brake system and replaced: pressure reservoir for SBC unit. Full inspection done afterwords and you can read more details from the added invoices for this service. photos 149-150@Kabanco what exactly was performed for the SBC recall? Was the pump replaced? What symptoms was the car showing?$15,500 bid placed by @MBscand

@Seoulcrusher Good eye, Harvey — you’re correct. There’s a minor crack on the lower front fascia, mostly from light parking scrapes. It’s purely cosmetic and not easily visible unless viewed from underneath. The rest of the bumper and front end remain in excellent shape. The front view appears to indicate the lower front fascia may have some damage/split. Can you confirm? Thanks❕ ~Harvey$12,950 bid placed by @Mike2210

@Nohemi63 Silver isn’t just a color — it’s part of Mercedes-Benz’s racing soul. The “Silver Arrows” identity is deeply woven into the brand’s DNA — dating back to the 1934 Nürburgring Grand Prix, when the team famously stripped the white paint off their race car to save weight, revealing the raw silver aluminum beneath. From that day on, silver became the racing color of Mercedes-Benz, symbolizing performance, precision, and innovation. So while modern trends might favor grey or darker tones, Brilliant Silver remains the color that defines Mercedes’ racing spirit — the AMG lineage, the Sauber-Mercedes partnership, and later, the F1 dominance with McLaren and Mercedes-AMG Petronas all carried that iconic finish. At the end of the….. it is a preference, mine would be silver no doubtNow my question would be, is flint grey or brilliant silver more sought after? If so would there be a significant price difference for a similar examplePicking up the E55 AMG this afternoon after completing recent service. The SBC brake system recall has been performed, and new transmission mounts installed. The car drives beautifully — smooth, tight, and ready to enjoy. @Slazz Car is getting recalls done @ Foothill Ranch Mercedes, as soon as I get he car on Monday will get you the production date.@Slazz Per lastvin.com the release date was 6/25/03@Piantanida48 Great questions — the car includes service records from the original owner. Service has been split between an independent Mercedes specialist and an authorized Mercedes service center. You can refer to the Carfax history for detailed service records and references.. As for the spark plugs, Mercedes recommends replacement at around 60k miles.Do you have service records from the original owner? Who has been doing the service, dealer or independent?
