For many, the W140 S-Class represents the peak of Sacco-era legendary Mercedes design and construction. After over a billion dollars in development, the W140 became perhaps the most sought-after and well-loved Mercedes globally; used by heads of state and diplomatic envoys even today across the world. Capable of making more than 500 horsepower (with some Affalterbach feddling), the M120 quickly became one of the most recognizable engines in the industry making cameo appearances in the Pagani Zonda for more than a decade. The M120 really saw success when paired with the W140 S-Class and the pairing continues to be one of the most formidable combinations in luxury motoring almost 30 years later. This 600SEL is highly appealing thanks to the rare color combination along with the healthy list of recent maintenance. The buyer of this example will have the opportunity to own a rare, refined, RWD super-saloon that is sure to continue to inspire enthusiastic motoring for years to come.

@RoadRunner Yes, there are pictures of the underbody. I've just sent to MB Market so that they can upload these into the listing. In terms of owners, person I bought the car from was slimming down his collection. From my side, I unexpectedly got a Cybertruck VIN and am unfortunately out of space. Otherwise, I would be holding onto this car (it's the pinnacle of German engineering).
According to Carfax, it went from 4th owner in 2019 to having 8 owners at the time of sale. Any reasons to why this is? Also are there any pictures of underbody and how is it in regards to rust? Thank you

@ciscokid1969 Good morning. Sure. I'm away with the kids for most of the weekend but am back Sunday late afternoon. If we can coordinate for Sunday late afternoon or evening, would be perfect.
@Garagehack I've sent a photo of the emissions plate to the folks at MB Market. Waiting for them to upload it.
Good morning. Is it possible to see the vehicle over the weekend? I'm in Stamford, Connecticut. Thank you.
@Garagehack Sure, will look for this later today or tomorrow morning and will upload a photo.
Hello, can you add a picture of the emissions plate or panel in the engine compartment? It may be on the black data panel visible on the radiator crossmember photo but I can't zoom in close enough to see what it says. I need that information to verify if I can register it in California.
