This 1993 Mercedes-Benz 500E is a European-market example that spent time in Japan before it was imported to the US by the seller in 2022. The car is finished in Brilliant Silver Metallic (744) over Anthracite leather (271) and powered by a 5.0-liter V8 paired with a four-speed automatic transmission. Recent maintenance includes a new battery, new Bosch alternator, and new power steering pump in preparation for the sale. Equipment includes 17″ Evo II wheels, a sunroof, heated and power-adjustable front seats, automatic climate control, an electric rear roller blind, and an electrically adjustable side mirror. The car features a W124 facelift conversion with 94/95 year model headlights, hood, and grille. Now with 121,506 kilometers (~76k miles), this 500E is offered with the owner’s manuals, tool kit, all import paperwork, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Florida title.
The car is finished in Brilliant Silver Metallic (744) with matching lower body cladding. Equipment includes European-spec fender lights, fog lights, headlight wipers, a sunroof, and an automatic antenna. The 500E comes fitted with flared front and rear fenders along with widened bumpers to match compared to a standard W124. The frontend has been updated to a facelift style from that of a 94/95 model year which includes a new hood, grille, and headlights.
17” Evo II wheels are fitted from a 500E Limited and wear Michelin Pilot Sport 4 tires measuring 245/45 all around with 2018 date codes. The 500E featured Porsche-tuned suspension with a lower ride height than contemporary standard W124 models and also required a wider track for better handling.
The cabin features factory sport seats by Recaro upholstered in Anthracite leather (271) which is also continued on to each door card. Burl wood trim accents the dashboard, center stack in the front and rear, and door panels. The seller notes some hairline cracks are visible in the wood veneer around the shifter and the headliner is sagging in the rear. Equipment includes power-adjustable and heated front seats, an electric rear roller blind, automatic climate control, and an updated Mercedes-Benz head unit. The original airbag remains in place and the steering wheel has been replaced with a contoured flat-bottomed style wheel.
The four-spoke steering wheel fronts VDO instrumentation that includes a 260-km/h speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, an analog clock, and gauges for coolant temperature, fuel level, and oil pressure. The six-digit odometer shows 121,506 kilometers (~76k miles).
The 5.0-liter DOHC M119 V8 was factory rated at 322 horsepower and 354 lb-ft of torque when new. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a four-speed automatic transmission. The seller states that the car drives and performs with no known issues. In preparation for the sale, the car received a new battery, new Bosch alternator, and new power steering pump.
The Carfax report was shows one entry in January 2025 with no accidents or damage. This Euro 500E is offered with the owner’s manuals, tool kit, all import paperwork, and a clean Florida title.

@mitchellc Hello there, Thank you for kind comments and support. Indeed this is a very interesting car here. I am the HUGE w124 fan. Ive owned quite few of them over the years. Unfortunately I do NOT have any major service records on the car. However, previous owners provided me some receipts ( brakes, oil change ) all minor maintenance. I do not have any records of EAT harness being serviced or replaced. I do know the AC is working perfectly fine. Hopefully this helps
@ItsThatEasy Hello and Thank you for your feedback. Unfortunately Carfax does NOT work on import cars. This car was legally imported into the US by me 3 years ago. I am the original owner in the US. Prior to me owner have had this car for 12 years. Recent service done by me : ~ New Bosch Alternator ~ New Power steering Pump ~ Brakes were done few years ago but car hasn't been driven much ( maybe 1000 miles ) ~ New Michelin tires ~ Window tint ~ AC works perfectly fine. I don't have any history records regarding EAT Harness,
744 silver is an amazing color for a w124 500e. good luck on all bidders!

@tabelegratis sounds like that amg 300te that keeps popping up. I was the high bidder on bring a trailer, then it was listed here recently. not sure if it sold, mbmarket is kinda vague. but I doubt it did -- the high bid here was less than what I offered.
@tabelegratis is for sale by the same dealer for almost three years now.
I believe I've seen this car up for auction on multiple sites.....it never sells. Last seen on PC market.
Interesting example here. Lacking any details about the service history in Carfax or listing it would help to address concerns about the wiring harness,EAT harness, all HVAC functions and possible needs going forward. Would greatly assist us bidders coming up with a value. Thanks
Beaurifuj car. Any prior history and repair records? 92-93 with upgraded front the best combo in my opinion Evos don't hurt either. My primary interests are engine wiring harnesses, EAT injector harness, a/c condition. Over the years I/ve owned and enjoyed all 4 years of this car. I use my cars and keep all in top condition Expext to have issues although history including maintainance encourages me to bid up Thank you mitchellc
