The seller reports that all exterior plastics and rubbers are in good condition and show no signs of fading.
A set of 18” Brabus Monoblock V wheels have been fitted to the car and come wrapped in a set of Kumho Ecsta tires measuring 235/40 front and 265/35 rear with 2008 date codes. The wheels are fitted with Brabus double-B center caps and the brake calipers have been painted red.
The cabin is trimmed in Blue Leather (272) and features matching blue Yanase floor mats and Burl Walnut wood trim which lines the center console, dashboard and door panels. Brabus badging can be found on the center console which shows no signs of cracking or fading. Both seats are heated and power adjustable with three-position memory for both passenger and driver. Interior amenities include automatic climate control, cruise control, a power rear view mirror, a passenger airbag, a Pioneer Carrozzeria radio and video player, and a trunk-mounted CD-changer. The Carfax report shows this 500SL first being registered in Canada in 2009 at 13k kilometers. The car shows Alberta registration through from 2009 with the current owner purchasing the car in October 2022. This 500SL 6.5-32 tribute is now offered for sale by the current owner in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan with the original manufacturer’s literature, Brabus literature, the original remote key, a clean Carfax report and a clean Canadian title in the seller’s name.
Walk-around and top operation videos have been provided by the seller below.
The R129 is often regarded as a masterpiece from the Bruno Sacco era and values are predicted to continue to rise with age. Each generation of SL has proven to be highly valuable and collectible. The R129 in particular is often seen as the last truly iconic body style of the SL lineage. This example was originally sold by the iconic Japanese importer Yanase and later received Brabus upgrades including front and rear bumpers, wheels and an exhaust. On top of the modifications, this example also boasts a desirable factory specification including a white over blue color combination and the optional heated seats. Showing just 43k kilometers on the odometer, this example would make for an excellent addition to an enthusiast’s collection who wants an R129 which stands out from the crowd.

For california i believe vehicles have to be 1975 or older to be exempt. This car runs like new. Im not sure about classic status for different states either. Sorry
Is it exempt from smog? Does it qualify as a classic when registering?
Closest airport would be Regina, 45 min away, i could pick up
