The 5.0-liter M119 V8 features dual overhead camshafts along with four valves per cylinder and produced 315 horsepower and 347 lb-ft of torque when new. An oil change was performed in preparation for the sale. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed automatic transmission. @TheEd I know what rare options come with W140s, I’m saying with this S500. I don’t really see any rare options on it.
@AriBK rare options would be the ski bag or refrigerator, rear footrests, electric folding rear tables, RoadFax, curtains, additional reading lights next to the rear passenger makeup mirrors, Designo interior (they had some truly hideous taste in the 90s), oddments box on driver seat. I don't see any of that, maybe the rear heated seats, but IIRC that was standard on the S500. Also the cupholder in the armrest was only used for 98-99 and I don't think I've ever seen one that wasn't broken, a photo of the cupholder would be appreciated.
What exactly are these rare options?
