This 2000 Mercedes-Benz SL500 shows first registration in North Carolina in May of 2000 where it stayed with the first and only owner until April of 2025. This R129 was sold from Mercedes-Benz of South Charlotte when new and now shows just under 28k original miles with clean Carfax history and original paint. Finished in Calypso Green Metallic (279) over a Gray Nappa Leather (238) interior, power is provided by a naturally aspirated 5.0L M113 V8 paired to a five-speed automatic transmission. The seller replaced front brake pads and rotors in preparation for the sale. 

The cabin features seats trimmed in Gray Nappa Leather (238) with matching dashboard and steering wheel. Burl wood veneer accents on the center console, door panels, and armrest. The walnut veneer shows no discoloration or UV damage. Amenities include power-adjustable heated front seats with position memory, automatic climate control, a factory BOSE head unit with cassette functionality, and an auto-dimming mirror. The $1,820 SL2 Package netted heated front seats and the integrated CD changer. 

A leather wrapped steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer, 7k-rpm tachometer, and clock along with gauges for fuel level, instant economy, coolant temperature, and oil temperature. The digital odometer indicates just under 28k miles.

The 5.0-liter twin-spark M113 V8 was factory-rated at 302 horsepower and 339 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a 722.6  five-speed automatic transmission. The included Carfax report shows 8 service history records, all at Mercedes-Benz South Charlotte, along with additional physical service records from new.
