Looking back to the 6.8-liter 300SEL "Rote Sau" and through the present, AMG-powered S-Classes have always set the standards for comfort, design, innovation, and most importantly, speed. These S55's were launched in 2001 and boasted the handbuilt AMG M113 V8; an already stout engine made into an absolute monster by the mad scientists at Affalterbach. It's nice to see these W220's getting the recognition they once achieved when new by a growing enthusiast base. We've seen a few W220 S55s come to market here over the past year and prices are clearly heating up as they still represent a huge value, offering premium luxury and performance in one striking package.

@Marjan11 The brakes are solid on this vehicle. I do not have a record or mileage for when they were last changed but the rotors and pads look fairly new.
How are the brakes? When they were changed last? What mileage?

@Marjan11 It is a superficial cover that surrounds the driver seat that is loose and has imperfections in the plastic surround. The seat itself is intact and fully operates I hope this answers your question.
Is the driver side seat broken in the bottom front plastic panel?
Good evening, we wanted to wish everyone a happy long weekend! This is a super nice example S55! We searched high and low for a low mileage example and this is what we came up with! I have personally been on the hunt for a clean one for many years and this fit the bill! Any questions or concerns please feel free to let us know.
