This 2007 Mercedes-Benz S550 was sold new by Mercedes-Benz of Laguna Nigue, California and has remained in California since new when it received the Lorinser exterior body kit and wheel upgrades. Finished in Iridium Silver Metallic (775) over Black Leather (201), power is provided by a 5.5-liter DOHC V8 mated with a seven-speed automatic transmission driving the rear wheels. Recent service includes replacement of the front air struts, an annual service and California smog. Service records dating back to when the car was new are included. Features include a Lorinser body kit, Lorinser wheels, heated and ventilated multicontour front seats, Keyless-Go, a rear view camera and Night View assist. This S550 is now being offered for sale by the selling dealer with the original manufacturer’s literature, a clean Carfax report and a clean California title.
The exterior of this flagship sedan is finished in Iridium Silver Metallic (775) and features a chrome delete kit which replaces the chrome trim on the front grille, windows and trunk lid with high-gloss black trim. The headlight film has been removed from the headlights as shown in the beginning of the gallery and is no longer on the car. A Lorisner body kit is fitted which consists of a Lorinser front and rear bumper, Lorinser side skirts, a Lorinser spoiler above the rear glass and Lorinser lip on the rear deck lid. The side and rear windows have been tinted along with the tail lights and door mirror turn signals. Exterior features consist of a power tilt/slide sunroof, Bi-Xenon headlamps with active curve illumination, Parktronic parking sensors and a rear view camera. The seller notes that the rear bumper has been resprayed in the past and that the exterior is in good condition with no damage or rust present.
Fitted are 20” Lorinser RS8 Turbine wheels finished in black wearing Hankook Ventus S1 Noble2 all-season tires measuring 255/35 front and 275/35 rear. The tires show date codes from 2020 and 2019 respectively. Lorinser center caps are also present on each wheel and new front air struts were recently installed.
The cabin is trimmed in Black Leather (201) which lines the seats, door panels and dash while hand-polished Burl Walnut wood trim accents the center console and dashboard. The front seats are 14-way power adjustable with 3-position memory and include heating and ventilation operated by buttons mounted on the door cards. Interior amenities include a Lorinser steering wheel, Harman Kardon surround sound system, adjustable ambient lighting, an 8” COMAND display, Drive Dynamic multicontour front seats and Night View Assist.
A Lorinser wood/leather steering wheel frames the gauge cluster which features a centrally mounted digital display accompanied by analog gauges including a tachometer, fuel level gauge and coolant temperature indicator. The digital odometer currently reads just under 60k miles with just 500 miles being added by the current owner since 2021.
This W221 is powered by a 5.5-liter DOHC V8 which is factory rated at 382 horsepower and 391 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a seven-speed automatic transmission. Service records since new will accompany the car and an oil and oil filter change was recently performed.

In 2007 Mercedes-Benz released the W221 which was a big departure in design from the outgoing W220 and represented the direction of the brand’s design philosophy for the coming years. As always, with the new S-Class came the newest in vehicle technology, notably the Night View assist equipped on this S550, which used an infrared camera to display a live feed of the road ahead that gave a viewing distance much further than normal when driving on a poorly lit road at night. The Lorinser body kit pairs well with the design of the W221 and the RS8 Turbine wheels are a staple of Lorinser’s offerings. This S550 should make for a comfortable and unique daily driver for its next owner for years to come.

Very well kept and a history of Mercedes-Benz dealer services and matched with known private independent shops. All the maintenance is up to date and current. This S550 Lorinser has always been garage kept in CA. All the seats and leather components have minimal “wear” such as leather folding over or “dryness”. A rare sight to behold! Recently new ABC air suspension completed amongst an oil change. The car is accompanied with a folder of records. The rear seats have almost no wear or leather “fold-over” anywhere. Even where the armrest is on the doorpanels. ZERO sticky buttons or fading of anykind.
