This ATIWE Steering Wheel was made for use on AMG and BRABUS vehicles in the 1980's. It’s finished in black leather and features the Mercedes-Benz star emblem in the center. Four horn buttons are featured on each spoke and the back of the wheel shows original part number KBA 70005. The center horn pad is removable to expose wiring and remains finished with original BRABUS stamped leather while the outer rim has been refinished. This BRABUS version was not sold separately and only installed on complete BRABUS cars from the era. This ATIWE steering wheel can fit various Mercedes-Benz models and was most commonly used for W126, R107, W116 and W123 models. Various adapters can be purchased to have the wheel fit on other Mercedes-Benz models. The outer rim of the steering wheel has been refinished with black leather and the center horn pad and buttons remain original.
The BRABUS version of this steering wheel was reportedly used on full BRABUS built cars only in the 80's. The bottom right spoke feature the BRABUS logo stamped into the leather.
