Showing in new condition, these front brake calipers were designed in conjunction with Brembo for cars optioned with CCB (Carbon Ceramic Brakes). Featuring a six piston design, the Solarbeam Yellow Metallic painted calipers are to be used with carbon ceramic rotors.
This lot includes the brake calipers, brake disc spring clips, the brake disc retaining pins, bleed nipple covers, and the inlaid AMG graphics on the face of the caliper. The part numbers for the calipers are: 20A399.04 and 20A399.03. These calipers come from race derived stopping technology which utilizes superior stopping power once warm, low dust, lowered unsprung weight, incredibly longevity, and heat resistant capabilities for track use.

A video showing the calipers has been provided by the seller below.
We’ve been around the block when it comes to modern performance cars and we’ve seen owners of vehicles damage calipers due to something as random as gravel getting kicked up into a wheel and carving up a caliper and paint flaking off due to endless heat cycles and wear. No matter how good of a driver you are, chaos theory can reign supreme in some instances. We’re seeing limited production performance options on older cars becoming extremely valuable (see RENNtech R129 brakes to Sebring AMG exhausts) and if we were to guess, these AMG CCB calipers will most likely follow that trend. Parts like these are awesome to buy if you’re needing to replace a damaged caliper due to a small accident or if you’re looking to upgrade steel rotors to ceramic on a car you like to drive hard where these will benefit. We’ve driven cars with these carbon ceramic brakes and let us tell you, once you get temperature, they will turn your face into melted cheese when you step on the slow pedal – they’re downright violent in the way they stop. Not only are AMGs good at going fast – they’re good at slowing down with AMG CCBs.

@ajaithomas Yes, I see it as much easier to install at the back in that case.$100 bid placed by @p2wllc
@adricadabras ok, i understand. my front calipers are 8 piston so it would take some heavy modificatoin to fit. do you think this would be a fit for the rear since i have 6 piston in the rear and 20 inch rims back there?@ajaithomas I honestly don't think they fit in front@adricadabras 19 x 9.5 in front and 20x11 in the rear.@ajaithomas I don't know if they fit inside your rims. What diameter do they have?@Calli74 Exactly, completely right. I assume they are referring to the brake calipers.@MBMarket - there seems to be an error in your 1st paragraph of the write up. You wrote "The two front rotors are shown to be in new condition without any sort of road use. " There are no rotors included in this auction as far as I can see.$50 bid placed by @Calli74
@adricadabras both, but as compared to regular calipers as baseline. also, would these fit a 2006 SL55 AMG r230? I have the 8 piston calipers and 360mm rotors.@ajaithomas Good morning, compared to normal braking or other carbon ceramics?are these lighter in weight than the regular calipers?
