The top features a steel frame, a glass panoramic roof with a retractable sunshade, glass windows, and Beige vinyl trim. This R129 SL hardtop is now offered from the seller in San Francisco, California.
The top is finished in Black (040) paint and features a panoramic glass roof and glass windows with painted steel bodywork along the frame. The original Mercedes-Benz etchings and decals from the factory are present on the side windows and visible in the gallery below. Minor oxidation and discoloration of the trim rails are shown in the gallery.
The Beige (265) interior of the top features a retractable sunshade and grab handles on both the driver and passenger sides. The sunshade operates smoothly and extends/retracts as designed without issue.
The non-glass interior surfaces present in good condition with no separation from the frame. Additional photos showing the condition of the interior surfaces are provided in the gallery. The top has been tested and all latch points operate correctly when mated with an R129 chassis vehicle. Rubber and felt trim points appear in good condition with no major deterioration or obvious wear.
