This authentic Mercedes-Benz Star Logo illuminated sign originated from the 2018 Toronto International Auto Show as a promotional piece.The sign measures 34.5" diameter x 2.75" thickness. The seller has tested all lighting and photos are shown with all bulbs in working order. Dealerships and other partners are instructed to destroy any genuine signage that is removed from their buildings, displays, or show booths so a sign like this isn’t common.

The sign is backed by a metal frame and a power chord is located on the bottom of the sign that works with 110v American voltage.

Original dealer and promotional signage has become highly collectible amongst enthusiasts today. When signage is replaced with updated versions by Mercedes-Benz, the dealers are instructed to have the removed signs destroyed. Some pieces such as this illuminated Star Logo sign have managed to escape such a wasted and premature fate. Most of these we see are dealer-destined so when we see one nof these low-profile units, it's rather rare. This one was used for the International Car Show, meaning it had to be relatively light, easy to pack, and take up as little room as possible. The LEDs make for a very clean look and will make an impressive display in any garage, showroom, or man cave.

There is no attached base. The sign is free standing on an end table in the auction photos. The end table is not included in the auction.Nice piece you have here.
