Bluetec? I don't see any record of DEF fills in the VMI service history, nor do I notice any filler tube for the DEF. Even the build sheet says it is a CDI. Can you please confirm? TIA.

Great looking car on offer here! I have a few questions. Are service records available? Was the car maintained to M-B standards throughout its life? Given it’s coming up on the end of its warranty, to your knowledge, is it eligible for an M-B extended warranty? Looks as though a previous owner’s driveway was steep - the front bumper cover is pretty beat up underneath. How is the front end suspension and alignment? In your opinion, would this be a car I could do a fly and drive pick up with (Dallas to Charlotte)? Finally - what a gorgeous S you have! Love the interior, and the option list is perfect.

@richardmartins Nice looking E55! I sent you a private message, but have received no response. Perhaps there is an issue with that functionality, so here are my questions. Can you provide more detail on the “warranty” repaint. What were the issues that M-B Canada felt compelled to address? Aside from any rust repaired during that repaint, can you comment on, or provide photos of the front spring perches? These are known to be susceptible to rust in climates where road salt is used. The build sheet for this car indicates it was shipped with multi-contour seats, but I don’t see any indication of the controls in any of your photos. Can you please elaborate on this? In previous auctions you have stated the rear sunshade does not properly retract. Is this still the case, or has that been addressed? Finally, would it be possible to view the vehicle? It seems you are in the Toronto area. Thank you!
