The Apple Car Play was a $3k upgrade!
I have lifted the reserve. This car is selling all the way!
As to the reserve, you will find it refreshingly realistic. Bid with confidence and end up owning a great car at the right price.
Just a few hours to go here! I wanted to comment on what a difference it made when I had Apple Car Play professionally installed and the stereo upgraded. The Comand system that comes with the car is very outdated. The first time you fire up the SL55 with Car Play you will feel like you are in a new car. The nav system is what you are used to in your new car, and the hands-free phone is very useful. It really does transform the car. Thanks for all the notes telling me you've enjoy my blogs about the car. It is my first supercar, and it has completely delivered. My son and I took it to Yellowststone National Park twice, and we had plenty of room for soft-sided luggage. The SL just eats up highway miles, and cruising at triple-digit speeds is effortless. This has been a particularly well-take-care-off car. Aside from the profesisional Car Play installation and an extra USB charging port, it is 100% stock. It was owned by a wealthly collector before me, who kept it next to his vintage Bugattis and Ferraris. It has always been stored indoors in a heated garage, with a battery tender on it. In today's market, I believe the SL55 is one of the great values interms of performance per dollar. In the 9,000 miles I have driven this car, including on the SCM 1000 where the guys from the Mercedes Classic Center commented on how original the car was, it has never disappointed me or let me down. At the inspection last week, I told the shop, Burback Motors, to go over the car and let me know if it needed anything. They said it checked out fine. I told them to change the oil, and they said it would be 3,000 miles until the next oil change was need. I maintain my cars by the book, and this has been a great car for me. Whoever the next owner is will surely enjoy it. And I will include a two-year subscription to Sports Car Market and an SCM cap as well! Happy Bidding - KM I'll be around to answer an
Dealer VMI report added at end of photos.
