This 1994 Mercedes-Benz E220 Cabriolet is registered in New York and was recently exported from the UK in October of 2022. Finished in Nautical Blue Metallic (929) over a Beige Leather (265) interior, power comes from a 2.2-liter M111 inline-four engine paired with an automatic four-speed transmission. Additional features include dual-zone climate control, an after-market head unit, power windows, and a dark blue power-folding soft top. Recent services include an oil change and new brake pads and rotors. Some records are included from previous ownership. This E220 shows 179k miles on the odometer and is now offered by the seller with factory literature, a Carfax report, 2 factory keys, and a clean New York title.
The body is finished in Nautical Blue Metallic (929) accented with dark gray lower body cladding. A power-folding Navy soft top is featured in addition to clear front corner lights, fender marker lamps, European plate mounts at the front and rear, and a power antenna. The seller notes the cladding has been repainted by the previous owner and the soft top leaks a small amount of water under heavy rain at the windscreen seal. The driver side corner light will be replaced for the new owner.
The Monoblock-style 18" wheels are wrapped in 205/40 front and 215/40 rear Zeetex HP3000 vfm tires with braking provided by disc brakes at all four corners. The seller notes the suspension has been lowered and new brake rotors have been installed. The wheels show some scratches and scuffs.
The cabin is upholstered in Beige Leather (265) and features burl walnut veneer throughout. Amenities include heated front seats, dual-zone climate control, an after-market head unit with auxiliary input, and power windows. Scratches and wearing on the front seats are noted and detailed photos of the interior can be seen in the gallery.
The original leather-wrapped steering wheel frames an analog display with a 150mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, and indicators for coolant temperature and fuel level. The factory datacard notes the car was ordered with instruments showing miles. The odometer indicates 179k miles from new.
This E220 Cabriolet is now offered by the seller with importation paperwork, factory literature, two factory keys, and a clean New York title.
Elegant, spacious, refined, and surprisingly entertaining to drive, it’s still regarded as one of the finest four-seater drop-tops there has ever been, and remains hugely sought after. It was based on the same shortened platform as the coupe and shared much of the hardtop's sheet metal. A huge amount of strengthening elements went into the structure, making the cabriolet impressively stiff by the standards of the day. It was extremely refined too, with a thick, heavy soft top that bolsters the timeless styling. This example shows tastefully in classic colors and a soft palette. Surely the next owner will watch values on cars like this rise as they continue to enjoy effortless motoring.

@alykozmo They are 18s. 8.5 in front and 9.5 in back.
What size are the rims, 17" or 18"? Any idea how wide? I had a '94 lowered with H&R springs, Blistein Sports and 17" rims from a CLK....thing handled so well .

@NolaOne1 Thanks man. The colors are even more beautiful when seen in person.
If the steering wheel were on the other side, I'd totally be in for this. Love the colors and look!

@GraysonP it's been lowered on springs but not H&Rs, as told by the last owner. She still drives smooth and handles pretty well.
@doublemint Do you know what the car is lowered on? H&R springs maybe?
