This 1994 Mercedes-Benz E500 Limited was ordered through Mercedes-Benz’s Erfurt branch in Germany and later spent time in Japan before being imported to the United States in 2025. One of 951 E500 Limited examples produced, this car is finished in Brilliant Silver Metallic (744) over Limited-specific Gray leather (288), with black-bolstered front seats, and gray patterned seat centers and door panels. Power is provided by a 5.0-liter M119 V8 paired with a four-speed automatic transmission. Factory equipment includes 17” EVO II-design alloy wheels, heated power-adjustable front seats, an electric sunroof, power rear sunshade, electrically adjustable steering column, headlight wipers, automatic climate control, and infrared remote locking. A Japanese-market Pioneer Carrozzeria navigation system is also fitted. The odometer currently shows approximately 216k kilometers, or 134k miles. The seller reports that the most recent service included an engine-computer electrical repair, an oil and filter change, and an A/C recharge. This E500 Limited is now offered in Fort Lee, New Jersey with a matching extra EVO II wheel, factory tools, warning triangle, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Ohio title.
The body is finished in Brilliant Silver Metallic (744) and features the widened front and rear fenders, unique bumpers, and lower body cladding specific to the 124.036. Exterior equipment includes headlamp wipers, a power-telescoping antenna, an electric tilt/slide sunroof, and Mercedes’ signature single-arm windshield wiper. The left-front fender was repainted following the car’s arrival in the United States. Cosmetic wear includes a scuffs and minor scrapes along the bumpers and lower cladding. The car presents well overall for the mileage, with smaller dings and scratches visible around the body.
Factory 17” EVO II-design alloy wheels are mounted with Michelin Pilot Sport 4 tires measuring 245/45R17. The front pair show early 2021 date codes, with the rears showing later 2019. Braking is handled by four-piston front and two-piston rear calipers with anti-lock braking, while Automatic Slip Control helps manage traction. A matching EVO II wheel and tire is stored in the trunk and is included with the sale.
The cabin features the Limited-specific interior, with black outer bolsters surrounding the Gray (288) patterned centers on the front and rear seats, and door panels. Wood trim extends across the dashboard, front center console, and doors, where it remains in good condition overall, while the rear center-console trim shows more noticeable cracking. Amenities include heated power-adjustable front seats, automatic climate control, an electric rear-window sunshade, power windows, and a Japanese-market Pioneer Carrozzeria navigation system mounted above the center vents. The headliner remains in good condition, but has some minor discoloration around the sunroof portion. The driver's seat shows some age-related wear. The seller reports that the power seats, windows, and antenna remain operational.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames VDO instrumentation consisting of a 260-km/h speedometer, 7k-rpm tachometer, analog clock, and gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature, and oil pressure. The six-digit odometer currently indicates approximately 216k kilometers, equivalent to roughly 134k miles.
Power comes from a naturally aspirated 5.0-liter M119 V8 equipped with Bosch LH-Jetronic fuel injection and factory rated at 322 horsepower and 354 lb-ft of torque. A four-speed automatic transmission sends power to the rear wheels. Japanese service stickers retained with the car document prior maintenance, including an engine oil and filter service in May 2020 at 192,141 kilometers, while an additional underhood sticker records previous automatic-transmission fluid service. The original maintenance booklet was reportedly stolen while the car was in transit, though the seller states that it was regularly serviced during its time in Japan. Most recently, the seller reports an electrical repair involving the engine computer, an engine oil and filter change, and an A/C recharge.
The Carfax report begins with the car’s importation from Japan, recording 134,837 miles in July 2025. U.S., followed by issuance of an Ohio title that October. A decode of the VIN shows the 958 Limited option code designated from the factory.

This E500 Limited still looks like a regular W124 until you park it next to one. Then the swollen fenders, wider track, lower stance, and EVO II wheels start to give away how different the 124.036 really is. Mercedes and Porsche took one of the brand’s most sensible executive sedans and turned it into a proper V8 bruiser, with a portion of assembly handled by Porsche in Stuttgart. That backstory alone gives the 500E and E500 a permanent place in Mercedes lore, while the Limited version took an already unlikely super-sedan and gave it a few more things to obsess over. The EVO II wheels give it more visual presence, and the Black and Gray interior with patterned seat and door-panel inserts adds a layer of character you simply don’t get in a standard E500. This example has lived a fuller life than the low-mileage collector cars that usually dominate the conversation, but the important pieces are still here: Brilliant Silver paint, the Limited-specific cabin, the factory wheels, and the 5.0-liter M119 up front. There are cosmetic items worth sorting, but for someone who has always wanted one of the great Porsche-touched Mercedes sedans and actually plans to drive it, this is a much more approachable way into the experience.
