This 2000 Mercedes-Benz E430 shows Missouri registration from new with just two original owners and 138k miles on the odometer. Finished in Obsidian Black Metallic (197) over Java Leather (214), power is provided by a 4.3-liter V8 mated to a five-speed automatic transmission driving the rear wheels. Equipment includes power adjustable heated front seats, a power tilt/slide glass sunroof, dual-zone automatic climate control, cruise control, power and auto-dimming mirrors, rain-sensing wipers, Bose audio and a power tilt/telescope steering column. Recent maintenance included an engine oil and oil filter change along with a full mechanical inspection. The car shows full dealer service history from new with nearly $9k in dealer service receipts under the seller's care since 2018. This E430 is now offered for sale by the current owner with the original window sticker, both original keys, the original tool kit, manufacturer’s literature and a clean Missouri title in the seller’s name.
The exterior is finished in Obsidian Black Metallic (197) and features chrome trim along the beltline and bumpers. Exterior equipment includes a power tilt/slide glass sunroof, power door mirrors with an auto-dimming driver side, front fog lights, rain sensing wipers and a garage door opener. The seller reports that the rear bumper and side skirts have previously been repainted with new seals installed. The exterior is in good condition with no signs of body damage or rust present. An accident is shown on the Carfax from 2002 showing damage to the right rear with no airbags deployed.
The cabin is upholstered in Java Leather (214) and features matching carpets, headliner and floor mats while Burl Walnut wood trim lines the center console, dashboard and door panels. Both front seats are heated and offer 10-way power adjustability with three-position memory. Additional interior amenities include dual-zone automatic climate control, a Mercedes radio and cassette player, Bose premium audio, and a power tilt/telescope steering wheel. The interior shows very few signs of wear with no cracks or discoloration shown in the wood trim.
The leather-wrapped multifunction steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer along with a 7k-rpm tachometer and gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature. Digital instrumentation consists of an outside temperature sensor, a digital clock and a digital odometer which reads 138k miles with 10k miles added by the current owner in the past five years.
This W210 sedan is powered by a 4.3-liter V8 engine which outputs 275 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed automatic transmission. An engine oil and filter change was performed in March 2022 with earlier maintenance items including new plugs and wires, new shift bushings, a new air filter, a coolant flush and an AC recharge.
The car was originally leased and later bought out by the first owner before being purchased by the seller in 2018. The Carfax report shows linear mileage updates along with full dealer service history from new. The aforementioned accident report is show in 2002 with damage reported to the right rear. This 2000 E430 is now offered with both original keys, the original window sticker, tool kit, first aid kit and literature with a clean Missouri title in the seller’s name.
The W210 is known as one of the best examples of combining luxury and practicality with its smooth ride quality and venerable reliability. The M113 and 722.6 pairing is known as one of the strongest powertrains produced by Mercedes-Benz and sitting in a W210 chassis, has been known to last many hundreds of thousands of miles. While many have been used liberally, this example has been extremely well kept by its two owners with dealer service history shown from new. The current owner meticulously maintained the car, spending nearly $9k in service. The condition speaks for itself with a spotless interior and no signs of damage anywhere on the car. For any MB collector looking for the perfect daily driver, this car suits the bill.

It looks to be worth every penny and then some! My only hesitation was that i reside in S Florida, and when adding the additional costs it was borderline. I would never had guessed that others were not waiting to bid at the auction end! First I've ever seen the clock run out with no final movement of typically 20-30% of the sale price in the final minutes.
@Jvspallo I’m a little confused as to saying that the reserve was lowered and the car would sell today. That comment usually comes when you lowered the reserve to a current bid. I’m hopeful that @TEENY gets the car, as she (I’m assuming she) would look fabulous in it, even though I don’t have a clue as to who that is.
Textbook example of how a couple of goofy bidders, serious or not, can derail an auction. Too bad, looks like a really nice example.
@Jvspallo It's gonna be a nail biter!!!!
@mtbemail thanks very much!
I picked up a similar E430 last year for a bit over the current price of this example. Very happy I pulled the trigger. Excellent daily driver! GLWA!
@Benzover Reserve has been lowered. Someone is going to win a superb E430!

What a clown show this comment section has devolved into! I've never seen such stupidity, especially on a driver quality car. It is a beauty and very well maintained, but the reality is , it is not quite the pedigree to be a collector example. Add current shipping costs of 1-1.25 mile and out of state registration and title transfer fees, I expect this super clean example will sell to a fairly local bidder. All said and done, she is a beauty and I'd love to add it to my family's stable of 4 daily driver 00-02 430 benzes! Let's see how serious dildoson is and bid him out early!
@dirkdildosonw126 should you be the high bidder, the seller will take your money in exchange for the title. If I were a betting man, based on your past behavior and my estimated hammer price of this vehicle, I’d bet against you. If my wager costs you a little bit more, I won’t be disappointed. Good luck!
@LarrytheWineGuy Ah, I see. So you are a wannabe moderator on an auction site, trying to cheerlead up everyone’s listing. I have no idea why anyone who can’t even link a credit card with $225 available on it would be able to post comments on a listing. As to your other point, let’s see, for starters I put my Amex Platinum on my profile here ready to bid on anything I might like. I’m currently bidding on 3 vehicles at once, of which I could buy all three if I really wanted to. Sorry to break it to you, but more than likely the seller here will be signing the title over to Mr Dirk R. Dildoson at the end of the day
@dirkdildosonw126 my purpose is to call out sophomoric commentary from a typical internet troll. Like you, I’m interested in a great MB value. Unlike you, I don’t feel it necessary to provide useless commentary. Your are not fooling or entertaining anyone.
@LarrytheWineGuy Interesting how you arent a verified bidder, whats your purpose here
@dirkdildosonw126 did you think it would hammer for $4,500? The real bidding will begin in the final 6 hours of the auction. At that point, you'll be an observer offering inane commentary. @TEENY, would that be Judge Elihu Smails? Hmmm?

Shill?? Don’t think so. My father, a prominent judge, had one of these. I LOVE THIS CAR.
@TEENY Nice, fake shill bidders. Have fun with this auction everyone
I would look so beautiful in this car

@Benzover that’s awesome. This is definitely not a pizza delivery car. The kid would never get tipped. People will think he’s rich. Thank you!
There, i outbid the guy that thinks shocks and ball joints are expensive or difficult repairs. Hopefully he finds a camry or sentra for his son to deliver "pizza"
$4,000 bid placed by @Benzover
It has a big trunk for lots of big sausage and pepperoni pizzas.
dirkdildosonw126 you plan on purchasing multiple vehicles in the next few years, but can’t afford maintenance on an E430. That makes perfect sense. “I sure as heck won't have any money to put into it either”. Your words Karen.
Nice, making fun of my last name. Very much appreciated. I am a verified bidder here and plan on purchasing multiple vehicles over the next couple of years and don't need any BS. Maybe you should just take this listing down and keep your car. Who puts $9K in service into a 22 year old benz and then sells it anyway.
@dirkdildosonw126 that’s very rich coming from DIRK DILDO SON W126
I'm pretty sure linking to a pornography site is against the T&C. Not to mention my underage son is reading these threads too, last thing we need. Thanks a lot.
@dirkdildosonw126 it has a big trunk for lots of big sausage and pepperoni pizzas.
@dirkdildosonw126 this would be a spectacular pizza delivery car! Whoever buys this E430 won’t need to spend a dime on it for many years and miles.
Gotcha. Well, my purpose in bidding here is to find a safe and reliable old MB for my 16 year old sons first car. Something he wont have to put a ton of money in as this would be a pizza delivery cruiser for a couple years until he gets to college. I sure as heck won't have any money to put into it either.
@dirkdildosonw126 The lower A-Arms were replaced with a 4 wheel alignment performed at the same time. Receipt with date is provided. The shocks and ball joints were inspected and didn’t need replacing. This was in May of 2021 at approximately 136,000 miles. The steering is tight and rides extremely smooth at any speed.
Seller...are the shocks and ball joints original or have they been changed? I couldnt see them in the receipts. I had these all go bad on my previous W210 and it was thousands of dollars to repair properly. Please advise. Thanks.
