This 2001 Mercedes-Benz CLK430 Cabriolet shows just 43k miles from new. Finished in Black (040) over Quartz Leather (215), power is provided by a 4.3-liter V8 mated to a five-speed automatic transmission driving the rear wheels. Service under current ownership included new valve cover gaskets and a complete fluid flush. Equipment includes a power-operated soft top, heated and power adjustable front seats, a 6-speaker Bose audio system, a COMAND multifunction display, removable wind deflector and Xenon headlamps. This CLK430 cabriolet is now offered for sale by the current owner in Parker, Colorado with original manufacturer’s literature, first aid kit and a clean Colorado title.
The exterior is finished in Black (040) and features an AMG-sculpted front air dam, side skirts and rear apron. The black soft top is power operated and includes a heated rear glass pane. The seller notes that the front bumper has previously received touch-up work as well as a damage report in 2019 showing minor damage to the rear bumper. The exterior is currently in good condition with only minor blemishes documented by the seller in the photo gallery.
Staggered 17” AMG alloy wheels wear Khumo Ecsta 4X all-season tires measuring 225/45 front and 245/40 rear with date codes from 2018. The wheels are in good condition showing only minor signs of curb rash.
The cabin is upholstered in Quartz Leather (215) and features contrasting Siam Beige leather on the steering wheel, dashboard and center console along with Bird’s Eye Maple wood trim. The front seats are heated and power adjustable with three position memory. Interior features include dual-zone climate control, a 6-speaker Bose sound system, and COMAND multifunction display. The interior is in good condition with no cracks in the wood trim.
The leather-wrapped multifunction steering wheel fronts a 160-mph speedometer along with a 7k-rpm tachometer, fuel level, coolant temperature, digital clock and digital outside temperature indicator. The digital odometer reads 43k miles with 5k added by the current owner in four years. The seller reports that the pixels in the odometer display occasionally malfunction.
This CLK is powered by a 4.3-liter V8 which is factory rated at 275 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed automatic transmission. The car received a full fluid flush along with new valve cover gaskets under current ownership within the past two years.
The Carfax report shows linear mileage reports along with the aforementioned damage report in 2019 with no other damage reports or accidents appearing. This CLK430 Cabriolet is now offered with the original manufacturer’s literature, first aid kit and a clean Colorado title.

When it comes to functional 4-seater convertibles, the choices have never been plentiful. Thankfully, the CLK has offered owners functionality without sacrificing style and the desire for a top down driving experience. The naturally aspirated M113 has proven itself as one of the most reliable engines and paired to the 722.6 transmission, can reach 200k+ miles with regular maintenance. With just 43k miles on this example, potential buyers should get thousands of miles of enjoyment while still being able to pass the acquisition off as an investment to their significant other. With values on the rise, finding a clean W208 is increasingly difficult. If you’re in the market for a top-down Mercedes-Benz experience, this CLK430 cabriolet offers up tremendous value for money.

@Cbrando the convertible top seams are in very good condition with no separation noted. This vehicle had been stored in a heated garage during my ownership. I have not touched the rear main seal. There are no oil leaks currently observed
Sorry 2nd question has the rear main seal been done? Thx
Hi how are the convertible top seems ? Convertible’s have tendency to separate. Great car
Good looking car. We've got a 2007 and driving through the mountains in the summer and fall is pretty incredible.
