The leather-wrapped multi-function steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature. The digital odometer indicates 72k miles and all pixels are in working order for the outside temperature and clock.

The naturally aspirated 3.2-liter M112 V6 produced 221 horsepower at 5,600 rpm with 232 lb-ft of torque at 3,000 rpm when new. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a 722.6 five-speed automatic transmission. Maintenance completed this year includes both valve cover gaskets, new breather hoses, spark plugs, and one ignition coil along with a recent oil and filter change.

Values for the W210 chassis have risen in recent years as buyers now appreciate more than ever the simplicity and reliability of a naturally aspirated sedan without air suspension and hundreds of onboard computers. These mid-size sedans were fortunate enough to exist during a time when modern day creature comforts were an option yet technology had not completely overrun the automobile. This example comes highly optioned with the Sport package, xenon headlights, heated and ventilated multi-contour seats, COMAND infotainment, and a rear sunshade; all of which are relatively rare on the W210. The Sport package offered E55 AMG looks with sculpted bumpers and side skirts, along with 5-spoke 17” wheels. While most Sport optioned examples came with V8’s, this W210 has the most efficient offering at the time with the naturally aspirated M112 which has proven to be highly reliable and robust over time. With only 72k miles showing, this highly optioned E320 Sport offers a ton of value and rarity at this price point.
