The Mercedes-Benz S-Class remains the ultra-luxury car against which other ultra-luxury aspirants are judged and this 2005 S55 AMG is no exception. The look is unmistakably Mercedes, with a dignity of design appropriate for a technological flagship that exudes luxury, refinement, and class. As examples aged and technology advanced, many of these W220 flagships became obsolete to many drivers and were replaced with newer models. Very few exist in this condition and even fewer with so little mileage are offered for sale. It's also worth noting this is a later model year which are the most desirable over the earlier year models. These cars have moved on from status symbols to be timeless future classics for enthusiasts who enjoy a blown V8, a cloud-like ride, and the exclusivity of a car rarely seen in traffic today.

@chillmaster68 Satellite radio works, all you'll have to do is contact Sirius and get a subscription. There are a few dead pixels in the screen, but the command unit is still fully functional.
Does the satellite radio work. I noticed the screen in the video is starting to have issues.

@rsabeebe It is a Mercedes installed Sirius XM module into the trunk from the factory. I'm not certain how Mercedes installs this unit from the factory. The Satellite radio antenna is only on the trunk lid of a W220 if it has the receiver installed from factory, and if it's just prewired for SXM there would be no antenna on the trunk lid.
@w123benz Any chance you know if that antenna is hard-wired or possibly just adhered? Would be a shame to put a hole in trunk lid for a subscription-based radio offering. Bad decision, imo.
@rsabeebe That small dent is really the only thing worth noting, the car overall is in great cosmetic condition. From what I've read, Mercedes installed the device on the trunk for cars optioned with Sirius XM.
to be honest, i had not noticed the dent on the trunk lid until i viewed the walk-around video. are there any other dents, scratches, or blems on the car that may not be seen in the pics? can you also tell me what the device on the trunk lid is for? i looked through the description, but did not see specific reference to it. thanks.

@rsabeebe I just sent in a few videos in of the soft close doors in operation, as well as the ABC suspension and trunk operation. All of which function properly and will be posted up here shortly. The seats are fully functional; all power adjustments, heating, ventilation, dynamic, lumbar, and pulse functions are in great working order.
All aspects of the seats fully functional - dynamic, lumbar, heat, and ventilation?
Seeing the ABC system functioning would be great. Hope you have the opportunity to post that soon. All soft-close functions working properly, including the trunk?

@RADSTR I have a handful of records from previous owners as well as records for the services I performed since owning the car. I will post photos of all the records I have. The ABC suspension is in great working order and rides very well (I will post a video of the ABC suspension operation). The paint appears to be all original and is in great condition.
What is the maintenance history and condition of the suspension system for this very attractive car?? Thank you. All original paint??
