This 2005 Mercedes-Benz S55 AMG was originally sold in Florida and has remained in the state since new. Finished in Brilliant Silver Metallic (744) over Charcoal Nappa Leather (281), this W220 is powered by a hand-built and supercharged 5.4-liter V8 paired with a five-speed automatic transmission driving the rear wheels. Equipment includes AMG-optimized Active Body Control suspension, AMG body styling, heated and ventilated multicontour front seats, bi-Xenon headlights, Keyless-Go, Parktronic and more. Recent service under current ownership includes an oil change, new radiator and fan, AC compressor, and supercharger bearing. This S55 AMG is now offered for sale in Deltona, Florida with factory literature, two keys, a recent Carfax report and a clean Florida title.
The exterior is finished in Brilliant Silver Metallic (744) and features an AMG-sculpted front air dam, side skirts and rear bumper along with chromed quad exhaust pipes at the rear. Bi-Xenon headlights are mounted up front with an integrated headlight washer system. Features include a power operated sliding glass sunroof, power folding mirrors, power operated trunk and Parktronic parking sensors. A 2015 accident was remediated with paintwork and the paint quality and matching is reportedly very good according to the seller.
Fitted are the factory 18” twin five-spoke alloy wheels wrapped in Bridgestone Potenza S-04 Pole Position tires measuring 245/45 front and 265/40 rear. Silver AMG-branded 8-piston calipers are mounted up front with 4-piston calipers at the rear.
The cabin is finished in Charcoal Nappa Leather (281) along with Burl Walnut wood trim which accents the center console, door panels and dash. The power operated front seats feature heating and ventilation as well as multicontour massage functions for both passenger and driver. Three memory positions are included with the driver’s settings being linked to the power side mirrors and steering wheel position. Equipment includes Keyless-Go, Bose audio, COMAND with navigation, dual-zone automatic climate control, a power operated rear sun blind, side window sun blinds for rear passengers, a 6-disc CD changer, garage door opener and AMG logo door sills. The front passenger dynamic seat function is currently inoperable. The seller notes that the center console cupholder is cracked, the door card-mounted armrests show fatigue in the leather and the front passenger seatback shows wear in the center section. Photos highlighting these imperfections are viewable in the gallery.
The AMG sport steering wheel frames the gauge cluster which holds a 200-mph speedometer along with a tachometer, fuel level indicator and coolant temperature gauge. The center digital display shows the odometer which currently reads 95,883 miles and sits alongside the digital outside thermometer and digital clock. The seller notes the SRS light is currently illuminated due to a code for the front passenger seat belt retractor. A photograph of the SRS code is viewable in the gallery.
The supercharged 5.4-liter M113K V8 is paired with a five-speed automatic transmission and is factory rated at 493 horsepower and 516 lb-ft of torque. Recent service under the current owner included an oil change along with oil filter, new radiator and radiator fan, new AC compressor and new supercharger bearing.
The Carfax report shows two prior owners along with linear mileage updates and regular dealer service visits. An accident occurring in 2015 is reported, however, no airbags were deployed. This S55 is now offered for sale by the current owner out of Deltona, Florida with a spare tire, original tool kit, manufacturer's literature, two keys and a clean Florida title.
Walkaround and driving videos are viewable below.
When AMG created the S55, they combined the best of luxury and performance that Mercedes had to offer. In 2003, the W220 received a facelift which included the addition of a supercharger which increased power from 355 to 493 horsepower allowing this 4,300lb sedan to reach 60mph in 4.6 seconds. With advanced features such as Keyless-Go and Parktronic, the S55 was the most formidable performance luxury sedan on the market and puts up a fight against even the best on offer today. With just 96k miles, this S55 AMG is sure to be enjoyed for years to come and continues to turn heads at every light.

@Piantanida48 yes spark plugs and coil packs. And I have done no work to the suspension, it all functions properly as designed and never sinks.
Have the spark plugs been replaced? Any work done on the front suspension?

@Qualules 386-315-4742 text or call me and I can show you the OBD2 scan of the code
Can you show your proof that the SRS code is a seat belt retractor? The reason I ask is that I've seen a SRS code for a bad air-bag as well. I'm not saying yours has gone off or that it's an air bag issue, just would like proof to be on the safe side as the cost to repair each of those respectively, is staggering. Thanks.
