This 2006 Mercedes-Benz CLS55 AMG was sold new in Dayton, Ohio with subsequent registrations noted in South Carolina and Florida. This example is finished in Iridium Silver (775) over Black Leather (281) and power comes from a supercharged 5.4-liter M113K V8 paired to a five-speed automatic transmission. Factory features include bi-xenon headlamps, heated and ventilated front seats, four-zone climate control, factory COMAND, and a power-closing decklid. This example shows modifications including STAR programming for ride height, a 76mm pulley, looped fuel rails, 630cc injectors, a 92mm throttle body, a aecondary coolant tank, longtube headers, and a belt wrap kit. The odometer currently shows 107k miles with 19k added by the seller since acquiring in 2022. Services in the last year include every front suspension arm and link on both sides, valve cover gaskets, a transmission replacement, a new rear main seal, a new crank pulley, new driveshaft guibo, brakes, and Black Series motor mounts. The car is now being offered by the seller with documented servicing, the factory toolkit, manufacturer’s literature, two keys, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Florida title.
The exterior is finished in Iridium Silver (775) and features AMG styling including sculpted bumpers, side skirts, a rear decklid spoiler, and dual twin-tipped exhaust. The body is reportedly free from any paintwork or bodywork and the factory blue-tinted glass remains with additional tint applied. Additional exterior features include a sunroof, bi-xenon headlights with curve illumination, and parking sensors for the front and rear. The body shows several light scratches including on both quarter panels and the rear bumper.
Original 19” Five-spoke AMG wheels are fitted and show light curb rash with no structural damage or bends. They’re finished in silver paint and measure 19x8.5 in the front and 19x9.5 in the rear. Bridgestone tires are mounted showing factory sizing in 255/35 and 285/30 respectively and show 2021 date codes. Silver-painted AMG brakes are tucked behind the stock wheels.
In the cabin, the AMG seats are trimmed in Black Leather (281) in addition to the door cards, armrests, shift knob, and AMG Sport steering wheel. Burled Walnut veneers adorn the center console, dashboard, and cluster surround. Alcantara trims the headliner and interior amenities include four-zone automatic climate control, heated and ventilated multi-contour front seats, a rear roller blind, auto-dimming mirrors, and COMAND with Harman Kardon sound.
The sculpted AMG Sport steering wheel frames white gauges featuring a 200-mph speedometer, 7k-rpm tachometer, and an analog clock. Additional fuel and temperature gauges flank the cluster and the digital odometer reads 107k miles, 19k of which have been added by the seller.
The original supercharged 5.4-liter M113k V8 was factory rated at 469 horsepower and 516 lb-ft of torque with power sent to the rear wheels via a 722.6 five-speed automatic transmission. Modifications including STAR programming for ride height, a 76mm pulley, looped fuel rails, 630cc injectors, a 92mm throttle body, a aecondary coolant tank, longtube headers, and a belt wrap kit. Under the owner’s care the following services have been performed: every front suspension arm and link on both sides, valve cover gaskets, a transmission replacement, a new rear main seal, a new crank pulley, new driveshaft guibo, brakes, and Black Series motor mounts.
The included Carfax report shows a clean history with no accidents or damage, and linear mileage updates. This CLS55 AMG is now being offered by the seller with documented servicing since new, the factory toolkit, manufacturer’s literature, two keys, and a clean Florida title.

I met with the seller today and I saw this car. Very nice example of CLS55, very clean car inside and outside, lots of love and funds spent on this car! It looks great in person!
@1man1engine Understood. I just PM'd you.
@Sergey sorry but I have plans tomorrow morning. If you live in the area I’d be happy to meet and show the car later in the day.
You wanna bring it to Armature Works tomorrow morning? There will be a car meet there 8-11am.

@Ilovebigtoys Both batteries (Duracell) and alternator (Bosch) were replaced last year.
Thank you for your detailed answer. I totally appreciate the point about reliability.
Let me start by saying the suspension work and the split cooling was done by euro works in Tampa, PLM heat exchanger, VRP under hood tank, VRP secondary heat exchanger and VRP superflo cooling pump. All front control arms and ball joints were replaced around 100k miles/ January 2022. Crank shaft pulley replaced April of 2022. BS motor mounts done March 2022. The car has zero leaks as all VCG and rear main seal were replace when the mods were done. Hellcat TB and harness, supercharger oil, supercharger upper housing gasket, supercharger gasket, lower intake gasket, snout gasket, surge tank gasket, bypass valve rubber seal and gasket, vacuum line plug behind supercharger, looped fuel rail, fuel tampener valve, intake manifold gasket, TB seal, one step colder plugs, SAI gasket, crank vent valve, breather and vent filter, manifold studs replaced, oil cooler seals, MAP sensor. Vtech tune. I would say the car make around 550 whp. It has not been on a dyno. It was my daily and need it to be fun yet reliable. I’m sure I could easily throw a smaller pulley with the supporting mods but I don’t need it. The car has always been a southern car and has no rust. I’m the 3rd owner if I’m not mistaken. It spent most of its life in Hiltonhead, the second owner was a financial person at Mercedes in Columbia SC if my memory is accurate. All of the mods were done when the car was in my possession. The air suspension does not leak. The car has been lowered using star. All pictures show the car in the lowest setting. The instruments were not replaced. I will comment again just in case I missed something.
The instrumentation looks like it has been replaced (from a 55 or 63AMG)? Is that correct, or was this an option when new? What year and at what mileage were all the performance upgrades done? Any documentation available? What year and at what mileage were all the front end suspension repairs done? Is there any “sweating” or leaks from the rear suspension. Does the ABC light ever come on in bumps or high speed/curves?
Sorry, I had missed the info re upgraded throttle body in the description. It is there! Thank you.
Is there a Dyno sheet after the engine modifications. Any estimate on new hp and torque? Has the throttle body been upgraded? Is the ECU re-tuned with upgrades?
