This 2007 Mercedes-Benz SL550 was originally sold at Mercedes-Benz of Beverly Hills, California in May 2006 and is one of 550 cars produced to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of the SL. It is finished in Pewter Silver Metallic (723) over Cognac Brown (227) leather and powered by a 5.5-liter V8 paired with a seven-speed automatic transmission. Additional equipment includes a power-retractable hardtop, bi-xenon headlamps, Keyless-Go, Active Body Control, heated and ventilated multi-contour front seats, a complete Reus stereo system, and COMAND infotainment with navigation. This SL550 has 69k miles from new and is offered by the selling broker with service records, two keys, manufacturer’s literature, 50th anniversary luggage, a Carfax report, and a clean California title.
The car is finished in Pewter Silver Metallic (723U) and comes equipped with a power retractable hardtop, fog lamps, bi-xenon headlights with cornering illumination, twin exhaust tips, and a roll bar designed to automatically deploy in the event of a rollover. The seller reports the incident on the Carfax report resulted in a new front bumper after the car struck a tire retread. Separately the Carfax mentions a minor accident in 2021 resulting in the replacement of the front bumper, grille, and a headlamp. Photos of the exterior are available in the gallery.
Chromed split-spoke 18″ wheels are mounted with Sumitomo tires with 2018 date codes. Braking is provided by four-wheel discs with cross-drilled front rotors and the car is equipped with Active Body Control. The seller reports an ABC service was performed in 2021 consisting of a pump repair, new accumulator, and fluid flush.
The cabin features seating upholstered in Cognac Brown (227) leather with a matching lower dashboard and door panels along with a contrasting black upper dashboard and carpeting. Amenities include ash wood accents on the center console and steering wheel, heated and ventilated power-adjustable multi-contour seats, cruise control, COMAND infotainment with navigation, Keyless-Go, and automatic climate control. Original 50th anniversary floor mats are included in the sale and shown in the photo gallery. The cover for the in-car microphone is missing. An aftermarket Reus stereo was added to the car by the first owner consisting of 11 speakers, 2 amps, and an aftermarket JL subwoofer with hidden enclosure that was recently upgraded. The seller notes the trunk manual latch is inoperable but the trunk does open with the key remote or the cabin switch. The hazard switch is noted to be tacky or sticky.
The multifunction steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature. The digital odometer indicates 69k miles.
The 5.5L M273 V8 was rated at 382 horsepower with 391 lb-ft of torque when new. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a seven-speed automatic transmission. The seller reports records are available from 2007 through the present and recent services include an ABC service, A/C service and line repair.
The included Carfax report shows linear mileage updates since new. This SL550 has 69k miles and is offered with service records, two keys, manufacturer’s literature, 50th anniversary luggage, a recent Carfax report, and a clean California title.

Additional service records and photos of the engine bay have been added to the gallery. Thank you.
@Demichae The convertible top is functioning perfectly, I will upload a video of its operation for you. The ABC system is sorted, it had a service less than 3k miles ago, which consisted of repairing the ABC pump, Accumulator, some lines, and fluid change. The ABC system has had some of the other lines replaced in 2017.
Beautiful car. Wondering if there are any issues with the convertible top. Also, it’s very difficult to view the invoices on an iPhone. Was the work on the active body control all that was needed or are there any other issues? Has it been properly maintained? I’m definitely interested but the convertible top, which is as complicated as something out of a transformer movie, and that ABC system scare me on these.

Nice looking example here- good to see chrome is still loved in some areas.
Hello! Very excited to present this beautiful SL alongside the MB Market team. When viewing the Carfax, two minor incidents are mentioned from 2018 and 2021. In 2018, the car struck a retread tire, requiring the front bumper to be replaced. Picture #172 contains the repair order for this incident. In 2021, a low speed collision at a stop sign intersection occurred, in which the grille, bumper, and left headlight needed to be replaced. Picture #171 contains the repair order for this incident. Included in images #175 and #176 displays the recent services done to the car. ABC service, A/C service, and front pad replacements were performed.. The Carfax hasn't reported much services of the car, but we have documents from 2007 of all maintenance records. The paint is in amazing condition after being garaged its entire life, but there are a few small imperfections. Images #30, #34, #44, #45 contain close-up shots for detail. If there are any questions or concerns I will be very happy to answer!
