One of my favorite modern colors on any Benz.
There we go!
@ilpatinoYou only live once 😂
My goodness this is a beaty! Stunning spec with the full AMG outfit
@AMGMBIf you can vouch for this build then I feel confident that it's the real deal. I'm constantly drooling over your wheel listings haha
The wagons of every generation e class look so much better than the sedans. This one is no exception, GLWA!
This color combo is so good. Would love to have a fleet of ivory over palomino Benzes from the 80's
I want this so badly. A Brabus 140 with a V12 is the pinnacle of 90's luxury and style. Total dream!
This is incredibly cool! Can't even replicate this today if you wanted to. I'd swap some dark amber front corner lights in the front and rock it everywhere!
@ottobenzSurely anyone who optioned out a S210 with these options rwd and this color had to order it. MB was churning out base spec 4matics in tan by the truck loads.
@AriG1974 Going to need to see some ID sir
@ClassiksNo kidding, and these are literally perfect. Excuse me while I wipe the drool from my face
@Smcase22Haha that's fair. For what it's worth this should only trend up as time goes on! Hope you can add this to your collection! PS I peeped the 6.0 you got and man that's going to be a killer combo
This one has me dreaming. A little bit of love and you could make this a $300k car easy
@Vlad600selMaybe the fact that it's a swapped engine with a quarter million miles on it and mismatched wheels?
Hear me out.... 3-piece 16" Aero III wheels and maybe a 1" drop.... someone do it PLEASE
@mikelacaThis is in the range of engines with headbolt issues, but of the maybe 5% of cars that experience issues they should happen by the 60-80k mileage range. With 108k miles I doubt there's any need for concern.
@zoccierampqtThat's easily removable with minimal effort. I'd take all the badges off except for the Mercedes emblem for a super clean look
Brand new with lug bolts and boxes is a crazy find today!
@mbheritage And that's why you have the quality reputation you do! Top notch seller!
Brabus wheels got to be worth a couple grand alone
Kudos to the seller for a very thorough and transparent listing. Appears to be a very well sorted example and that interior color is awesome!
Now these are cool! Love the OEM faces with OZ vibes
Designo and P30? Top shelf!
That 320kph speedometer lets you know you're driving something special. So cool!
Gorgeous color on the R129. Love the sleeper spec even though the full kit does look amazing too
The real deal! The 990 code on the datacard is key on these cars.
@JhoaggThey do fit all R129 cars. I had them on a red 97 SL500 a few years ago and looked great
@Orange911They sold either way!
Appropriate bid number!
@JhoaggNon sport package and nearing 100k miles. It does look super clean though
This is the nicest 108/9 I've seen in a long time! Lots of 280's out there but not the 300!
Smart money buys this one! You can't find them like this anymore today. If my pockets were deeper it'd be no question. A dream car for the century GLWA!
@LWVB250 You're not going to find any 18's staggered in this condition. I was searching for a set of these about a year back every day for months and found mostly 17s. All of them needed to be refinished too which will cost you a lot more than the shipping on this set. I was quoted $250 per wheel as the starting since they're polished.
That AMG quad exhaust is perfect on that car! The way they should've came from the factory.
Some serious bang for your buck right here! The light interior looks great too, not sure I've seen many that weren't black
This is supercar power with four doors and class. I'd take this any day over the latest rambo lambo.
Knock out punch! That's how you do it!
I think there's a very real possibility this is a legit 6.0. The VIN even decodes as a 6.0 on mbdecoder. I've seen many with brand new ebay stickers trying to be AMG but these are aged appropriately. If I was a betting man... I'm going 6.0.
@Spetsnaz1These will fit a W202! I've seen them on many C43s and saw a guy with a C280 running these as well some time ago.
Swap in the stock grille and call it a day! Super sweet spec with the 5-speed
Love seeing this on MB Market! I used to watch Keith on the Speed Channel back in the day. Definitely a legend in the automotive world!
@ProdigalPetrolHeadTrue, would be a shame to miss out on this over $1400 to ship coast to coast
@ArmyGuy63Thought that would sell there too
Such a good color on the 123!
@bigDReal deal will run you well north of half a million. Last Hammer here sold for $780k!
Can't find them this clean anymore. Wish someone would put those seat covers on all the cars I'm going to purchase in the future lol...keep the leather nice for me
@jrporrataI've seen these on a w126 before. A friend of mine had one with these 17s
Really nicely optioned spec. Sport package and xenons makes a huge difference!
@bfuen001If you were ordering a car back in the day you could option it as you wanted. The xenons on this car for example was another selection in addition to the Sport Package. Sport just gave you the E55 body kit and 17" wheels. The wood wheel was certainly a rarely optioned feature for these though!
Bet this is a fun car to drive with the 6-speed! SLK’s are already fun to toss around in the corners so the only thing missing is the manual!
Absolutely stunning with the sport kit and color. This one has me thinking...
There's not a Benz that these wheels don't look good on.
The updated styling has really grown on me. Still very boxy and properly stout in design.
Very low mileage for one of these diesels!
Absolutely love this color combination! A welcomed sight compared to the standard silver and black color schemes
If only I had a Gullwing....
There's an interior dye kit for these cars that can touch up the red trim pieces in a couple minutes. I had a friend who did that on a SLK32 a few years ago and it looked like new. Very cheap and easy to do for the next owner.
I can't remember the last time I saw a 140 like this that didn't have a warped or cracked lower front bumper. Looks like a really nice SEL!
Great example of how incredibly well these cars hold up when properly cared for and maintained. Ultra clean!
Such a great color combination on this coupe. Don’t see these very often either.
Never seen one this large make survive! The dealers are usually sure to have them destroyed but someone saved it thankfully
MSRP over $103k in 1994 was a real heavy hitter! No wonder the guys family owned majority share of Diamler at the time. Incredible W140! Looking forward to watching the end of this one.
@cpilkThat's great info! Freddie at Unique Cars of Palm Beach properly goes through his cars and runs a very tidy operation. I've seen some of the Pagodas he's done and they are top quality!
Well done! Congrats @desertrat on a solid win!
Those floormats really make that interior! Need some Coco mats for myself now. Manual W123 with no rust is a rare find, GLWA!
This has to be one of the cleanest W123s left! Gives a whole new meaning to the term "clean diesel" ;)
@Bankrep40I've seen this wheel mounted on a W124 so should be no problem on a 300E.
Lots of potential with this one! Certainly looks the part
Pretty rare to see these as 4matics today! Perfect for those who can't make do with a RWD only.
The interior appears to be extremely well done. Whoever did that certainly knows what they're doing. The double stitched dash is also a very nice touch.
If I had a W202 I'd buy this kit all day long. The 36 kit looks so good and looks similar to the facelift 124s
This will forever be one of the best interior colors of all time. Too bad it's in such limited models but man is it good!
This one has me drooling! Tough to beat a green over tan, last year model W124 with a diesel!
@EltjonsHaha most pointless comment I've ever seen
Worth every penny!!
Gorgeous spec! Always a plus to have heat and a hardtop.
This is as cool as you can possibly look for under $10k. Could fool the untrained eye for a Hammer ;)
Pagani power with better looks!
@ferrari1971Well done! That's going to look so perfect
@OriginalAndRareNot sure you're going to find dyno results out there but this is certainly an upgrade over the standard Jetronic. There's a reason everyone switched to electronic fuel injection. As a more efficient system there has to be some power increase I would think, probably 15-20 hp if I had to guess.
I don't think people realize how rare a Sportline coupe really is. These were the prime editions offered from MB at the time and made a noticeable improvement in driving feel. Love this car, GLWA!
Get a set of proper Monoblocks on this car and you have an absolute winner! Then sell these wheels and pocket the cash, totally ruins the aesthetic but thankfully an easy fix.
@NachozNo need for concern there. That's completely normal for a car of this age and actually above average compared to most I've seen. If you were to replace them, the last time I checked these could still be ordered through the dealer and aren't very expensive.
Little bit of elbow grease and this would be a perfect car. Interior looks immaculate!
Black on black sport package with a boat load of options is the only way to own one of these. Very nice car
Lovely example. Always a good sign when you see Michelin Pilot Sports installed.
Well done on the description! The prior "Hammer" auctions that have been publicized in years past really confused the market about what these cars really are. This is the only true Hammer I've seen on an online auction platform and this is surely the real thing.
Love the interior on the Limited. These should continue to standout and hold strong values with such low production numbers. Interesting this has a December 94 production date so this is likely one of the very last Limited editions made.
This is absolute perfection! Stamped 3.4 AMG modified engine with a 5-speed dogleg... where do I sign?
Now this is one is neat. Almost impossible to find a complete Lorinser kit today and these really were something special back in the day.
@JAdkins79Don't forget an AMG kit and you suddenly double the value of the car immediately.
