This 2009 Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG was sold new at Helms Bros. Mercedes-Benz in Bayside, NY in November 2008 and is finished in black (040) over Anthracite (851) leather. This example is reportedly one of only 431 produced for the 2009 model year. It now shows just over 79k miles and is powered by a 6.2-liter M156 V8 paired with a 7-speed automatic transmission. Factory equipment includes Parktronic, a panoramic sunroof, heated and ventilated front seats, rear door sun blinds, rear-roller blind, DVD COMAND navigation, bi-xenon headlamps, cornering fog lamps and Keyless-Go. Recent service includes new tires, new sunroof motor, new SAM control unit, new plugs & coils, a new coolant expansion tank, and new serpentine belt. An oil service and a new battery were installed in preparation for the sale. This E63 AMG is now offered by the selling dealer in Massachusetts with partial service records, a recent Carfax report, and a clean Massachusetts title.

This example is finished in Black (040) paintwork and includes a panoramic glass sunroof, bi-xenon headlights, spoiler, and AMG-specific bodywork including sculpted front spoiler, side skirts, rear diffuser and quad exhaust outlets. The seller notes that the rear bumper has been painted and the car was involved in a front driver’s side collision in 2014. Scratches and imperfections are noted with specificity on the hood and the front right bumper. AMG-specific 18″ wheels were reportedly professionally painted under previous ownership and are mounted with a set of new Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires that show 2021 date codes. The air suspension compressor assembly was replaced and the front air shocks were replaced with arnott units in 2020. 

The Alcantara-trimmed front seats are heated and ventilated, and additional interior appointments include multi-zone automatic climate control, power windows/mirrors/locks, COMAND, Keyless-Go, rear door sun blinds, and an electric sliding moonroof. Bird’s eye maple wood trim adorns the center console, dashboard, and doors. Significant bolster wear is visible on the driver’s seat and the seller notes that the rear roller blind does not currently function.

The digital odometer shows just over 79k miles, 1k of which have been added by the selling dealer. The seller notes that the PRE-SAFE function intermittently shows as inoperable on startup. A photograph of the error message is viewable below.

The naturally-aspirated 6.2-liter V8 developed 507 horsepower at 6,800 rpm and 465 lb-ft of torque at 5,200 rpm from the factory. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a 7-speed shiftable automatic transmission. Recent service includes a new sunroof motor, new SAM control unit, new plugs & coils, a new coolant expansion tank, and new serpentine belt. An oil service and a new battery were installed in preparation for the sale, and new Michelin tires were also recently installed. The resonator has been deleted from this vehicle and is not included with the sale.
