The Nappa Leather AMG performance steering wheel fronts a 12.3” configurable digital instrument cluster with a digital odometer which reads 12,424 miles, all of which have been added by the single owner. AMG Drive Unit buttons mounted to the steering wheel offer controls for AMG Dynamic Select with the left hand side controls allowing for custom button mapping.
This GT53 is powered by an AMG-tuned 3.0-liter turbocharged inline-six which is factory rated at 429 horsepower and 384 lb-ft of torque. An Integrated Starter-Generator operating on a 48V system assists the engine adding a further 21 horsepower and 184 lb-ft of torque. The 48V EQ Boost system also operates the engine accessories and auxiliary compressor allowing the engine to run fully beltless. Power is sent to all four wheels using an AMG 4Matic+ all-wheel drive system and an electronically-controlled limited-slip differential paired with an AMG SpeedShift nine-speed automatic transmission.

The AMG 4-Door Coupe was designed from the ground up by the engineers in Affalterbach to provide the experience of the performance-focused AMG GT while affording the usability of a full-size sedan. The GT 4-Door provides seating for four and includes a power operated hatch offering a favorable amount of cargo room. The AMG-enhanced 3.0-liter turbocharged inline-six makes use of an Integrated Starter-Generator operating on a 48V system to add 21 horsepower and 184 lb-ft of torque to provide an instant boost of torque at the first sign of throttle input. Unique to the AMG models, the 48V EQ Boost system also powers an auxiliary compressor which provides boost to the engine lower in the rev range when the turbocharger hasn’t yet spooled eliminating turbo lag. This provides power delivery more similar to a larger displacement naturally aspirated engine. The 48V system also operates the engine accessories allowing for the engine to operate without the use of accessory belts making for a mechanically simpler engine with a smaller footprint. These technological innovations along with AMG-tuned suspension, steering and brakes creates a sporty driving experience in a package that allows for daily drivability.
