This original premerger AMG spoiler is designed specifically for the W126 chassis and has never been previously used or mounted. It was acquired from a collection of new old stock from AMG. It’s an unpainted example wearing its original finish with the unused double-sided tape on the backside. The spoiler features the original AMG stamping showing part number 7880153. This authentic premerger AMG spoiler is now offered from a collector in Sweden and shipping is offered at the buyer's expense.

Photos in the gallery show the front and back which are molded to fit flush along the edge of the trunk lid of any W126 sedan from 1981-1991. The side ear pieces overhang along each rear quarter panel. The KBA part number assigned to this piece is 35772. The original AMG part number 7880153 is stamped below the right corner wing.

This version is the single-piece lip spoiler which was offered by AMG on various models by AMG. This specific example is designated specifically for the W126 chassis and the original double-sided tape is still present on the back.

New old stock premerger AMG parts have become highly sought with the increase in knowledge and values for the cars built prior to AMG's merger with Mercedes-Benz. While a few of us who were ahead of the curve would seek these parts out, they've never been readily available. Now, this is considered unobtanium and one of the rarest finds for any enthusiast. A new old stock AMG spoiler isn't something you can simply buy later. While we occasionally see the ducktail versions, these single-piece lip versions are impossible to find. As an unused authentic part, fitment is guaranteed to be on point and there's no repairs or damage to deal with. Most of the used ones show warping and other irreversible wear. This spoiler could be the perfect touch to any W126 without requiring additional modifications or add-ons. Don't hold your breath on this one or you will certainly regret not jumping!
