The front piece shows as AMG Part number: 749099 (Front). The text on the label reads: Sebring Auspuff 855321 AMG Mercedes 124/230E - 124 Vorshalldaempfer 1 AMG. The text engraved on part is: Sebring 124 VSD 1 AMG. This piece hooks up to the exhaust headers and appears to be for a catless car.
The middle piece shows AMG Part number: 7490098 (Middle). The text on the label reads: Sebring Auspuff 855322 AMG Mercedes 124/230E - 124 Mittelshalldaempfer 2 AMG. The text engraved on part is: Sebring 124 MS 2 AMG. This piece attaches to the header piece and the rear muffler and has the Sebring resonance chamber attached with the flange clamps and the muffler hanger rod.
The rear piece shows AMG Part number: 7490100 (Muffler). The text on label reads: Sebring Auspuff 855323 Mercedes 124/230E - 124 Endshalldaempfer 3 AMG. The text engraved on part is: Sebring 124 ESD 3 AMG. This is the rear muffler and has a single AMG stamped polished tip along with the flange clamp and muffler hangers ready to bolt on applications.
The overall condition is very good with a few small spots of surface level corrosion that can be removed with a wire brush prior to install. Also included are the flange clamps and and the original Sebring plastic packaging since this is a new old stock item.

Many Americans are jealous of the European and Japanese market Mercedes with the small engines and fun interiors. We never got a M102 W124 in the States, but there are tons of them elsewhere in the world. We are, however, big fans of the M102 and have a few performance builds in our collections, so seeing a ridiculously rare and complete AMG Sebring exhaust system for the 230E makes us quite jealous. These systems are precision made and eye-wateringly high quality with rather impressive performance gains – there’s a reason AMG used Sebring exhausts on the Hammers! With this being new old stock, this system is bolt on ready with no questions about internal integrity of the resonance chambers and mufflers as a lot of these that were on cars have rotted out or rusted beyond repair. Our personal M102 cars all have OEM+ exhaust work done to them and they sound fabulous. The over-bored four cylinder M102 has a baritone, meaty voice that is accentuated by exhaust work and you’ll see excellent performance gains since there’s basically no restrictions on this system. Installed on a car with a five-speed manual transmission would be excellent as you can work the engine and hear the Sebring sing while rowing through the gears.
