@MBTech96 so the car ran well when I drove it around the business complex and it always fires right up however I didn’t take it on the road. I’m not sure about the sls because again I haven’t really driven it in 3 years I do remember servicing the sls system when I first bought the car in 2015 it needed two new rear hydraulic shocks to fix the clunk it was having from worn lower ball joints which is an issue these cars had. I don’t know much about the mileage discrepancy as I’m not the one who did it I’ve only been told by the previous owners about it getting rolled back for bank financing. The loans are all paid off and the title is clean and clear btw.
@ehabvipersorry for the late response if you want to come see the car tomorrow send me a private message it’s available for viewing tomorrow at 9am .
@Mercedessweden yes the electrics work , the seats move windows roll up and down, the steel on the bottom of the door where w124 typically rust are rust free. And the sunroof did work I will have to try it tomorrow to confirm for you. I don’t see much rust on the car besides the battery box I believe that’s from battery acid at some point of its life.
I have been asked if I will help with shipping by a bunch of people and yes I will help the car go onto a transport truck or drop it off at the Jax international port for international shipping no problem guys , just please don’t expect me to help pay for the shipping or deliver the vehicle myself outside of Jacksonville city limits . Delivery to the shipping port is no problem as I have a truck and trailer and it’s only 5 miles from where the vehicle is located.
One thing I should mention is that this car has wheel studs installed with lug nuts instead of bolts. I did this so that no new bolts are needed every time you change wheels. The studs are not permanent and did not modify the hubs at all they are simply threaded in with lock tight into the hubs and can be removed if a stock application is desired. Super convenient setup for someone who likes to have multiple sets of wheels.
Hello everyone, some of you are probably going to ask what the blue stuff is in some of the pictures I’ve uploaded and the answer is that it is plasty dip the car was electric blue plasty dipped in 2018. I have photos if anyone wants to see. Whoever is interested in this vehicle please know that this is a running and driving vehicle but it is a project it will need work to become a daily driver again. For example, the tires are not safe .
