Hello guys !
The car is not perfect yet ! I have done a lot ,but few things left !
1. The main thing will be the suspension bushings ! They are bad , especially the differential ones Because of the huge tires and stiff suspension the OEM rubber bushings are no longer mach for the car , so all of them needs to be made from delrin and all of the arms needs to be made with ball bearings instead of rubber !
The rear sub frame needs to be dropped and every OEM rubber bushing needs to be transformed to the delrin version of it including the differential ones ! The same for the front suspension !
All of the arms from the fames Mercedes multi link suspension need to be made with ball berings !
I already installed the MB Arts adjustable camber arms and I have the toe arms (see pics)
but the rest of them needs to be custom made
Also the the OEM Mercedes-Benz rear spring rubber buffers A2013251144 needs to be made from delrin ! i have the delrin piece and it is included in that sell(see pics)
The rubber ones will no last even a week withe the stiffer rear springs from Ground Control
2. Like I mentioned above the the top is aluminum and roll cage is made of 4130 chromoly . so a bracket from aluminum needs to be weld on the inside of the top and a bracket from 4130 chromoly needs to be weld on the roll cage and bolted together for
additional chassis stability! This way you can still remove the top and drive the R129 convertible if you wish ! after that the top could painted on the outside and the interior panels installed on the inside for better interior filling
3. The AC blow cold but doesn’t hold the freon
4. The car has few dents and few cracks on the paint , and I never fixed the rear end , i only fixed the rear bumper (see pics)
5.The back of the inside mirror fell off because of harsh ride

@ajaithomas Everithing between the engine and the oxygen sensors is original but after that it is all different no cats no resonator just 3’’ pipe to the REMUS muffler
No Tune on the ECU
The top is still removable ! I wanted to weld aluminum plate on the inside the top and 4130 chromoly plate on the roll cage and bolt them together but that never happened because i stoped working on the car ! That’s way I never painted the top !
And YES with 2 out of 4 cats only the car still PASS CA smog check

@gsxr! bought the 3.06 LSD diff and NSG370 from a guy in Long Beach ! I installed the diff and hook up the transmission to the M113 from Ml55 AMG I had ! Back in the days was difficult to find some one to work on ME-SFI 2.0 ECU that’s why I couldn’t finish the conversion and I dropped the idea ! I sold the diff and the transmission and returned the original 2.65 back on the car ! Couple of years later people started to make adaptors for M113 to BMW transmissions and the ECU was no longer a problem since people started to work on them with success! All that got me excited again because the NSG -370 is not that strong but was the only choice! I bought the donor 3.06 diff from W203 C32 AMG and i suppose to buy the wavetrac LSD i put it all together but that never happened because i got married and i moved to Santa Barbara ! This is when I stoped working on the car ! I had the m113 from ML55 AMG and M113 5.8 BRABUS for the car but I SOLD everything ! The car is the only think left from my old self !
