@Niklas32You did good work on this car, dude. Lots of love an attention to detail. The most impressive thing to me is the burl wood sourcing. It is near impossible to find here in the Americas. I've been looking for replacement wood for my OM606 300GE for a while now with no luck. The only options were refurbishment.
Gents I found the rebuild thread on this car. Doesn't exactly jive with the mbMarket description but this young man put in a significant amount of work to get this car to the condition it is in. https://www.500eboard.co/forums/threads/niklas32-300e-3-2-amg.22039/
Queried ChatGPT it will cost about $10k on the high end for RoRo to Orlando.
Am very curious about the complete cost to import this to the US. This will inform many of our bidding decisions.
Thank you for the driving video. I can’t tell if that’s wind noise or something else. Can you please explain?
Please note that a state can and will reference auction results for pricing - as it is literally tied to the VIN of the car so best not openly commit tax fraud on these platforms. @seller - were you able to resolve the driver seat issue with it moving forward. Invoices simply state part no longer available for the switch (which really sucks) was the shop able to engineer a fix? The seats are too rad to ditch.
I know the hours are running down but any rust? Can I get a shot of near/under the battery tray?
