Noteworthy factory options and features include rare pneumatic suspension (option code 487), power-adjustable orthopedic front seats, a power sunroof, power windows, air conditioning, and a rear curtain. Further Lorinser modifications confirmed by Lorinser include the complete body kit with front bumper-integrated fog lamps, a molded rear duck tail spoiler, original Lorinser badging, and 16” Lorinser wheels. It’s been regularly serviced and well maintained according to the selling dealer with the most recent oil service in June of 2025. New brake pads, rotors, and lines were also installed in 2025. Offered with 237k kilometers (~147k mi), this Lorinser-modified 500SEL includes two sets of keys and a clean Dutch registration.
Finished in rare Silver Blue Metallic (930) the C126 front end conversion appears consistent in color and panel gap tolerances. As we approach the final hours of the auction, we would like to round up all the details about shipping the car to the USA. We would give our full assistance from car pick up here in Europe to the port in USA. We would arrange the transport in Europe from cars location to the port in Belgium. The price roughly would be 700 Eur. Car would be delivered straight to the port. We would get you in direct contact with our shipping broker who would take car all of the export/import paperwork. Shipping price from Belgium to USA east coast would be roughly 1400 Eur. Payment should be done via bank transfer. We would send the vehicle registration documents straight to your address. @KalleRiccar maybe it was because of the Sweden. From Belgium it is almost twice as cheaper.
@Saildoc I shipped a car from Sweden to NYC earlier this year and it was around $4k for RORO.

@Saildoc Sure thing! Basically it is a pretty straight forward process. We work with professional export brokers who take car of all the export/import documents, also book a spot on the RoRo vessel. We would get you in direct contact with them. Then we would arrange the delivery of the car to the port in Belgium from where the cars usually are being shipped to the States. It usually takes around 2 weeks for the car to arrive to East Coast USA. You would get all the instructions on how to pick up the car from the port - by yourself or by a transport company. Then you simply go to your local dmv with the bill of sale, import documents and vehicle registration certificate and get the USA title. The European vehicle registration documents would be sent to you directly via courier. As mentioned before - full assistance would be provided for shipping.
Can the seller comment on the buying and transfer process and what shipping would likely be for USA buyers? New to this process
Hello to everyone bidding and watching this auction. We are a classic car dealer company working all over Europe. We could offer our help shipping the car overseas or anywhere in Europe. You can check reviews at our FB page, same as user name. Regarding the car - it is a very fine example of Lorinser history. A customised 500SEL with lots of rare options, which all are working perfectly. The car is in mint condition inside out. The owner of the car has contacted Lorinser directly for approval of the car as there is no official document from them. But sadly their archives last only to year 1995. But from the thorough inspection of the photos of the body kit, wheels, rear moulded spoiler they said the car is 99% built at their factory, We will be here through all of the auction time so, please, don't hesitate to ask any questions related to the car or shipping. Today's fantasy... First, if I had the spare funds... Second, if this was offered back in August--to have won; a quick flight to the Netherlands with time to pick this beauty up prior to the F1 Race (or substitute the timing prior to Spa as a favorite track!). Drive across Europe after the race and ship it from Southern France, while I flew home. But alas, refer back to #1... GLWTA!
