This 1999 Mercedes-Benz C230 Kompressor was sold new through Mercedes-Benz of Pompano Beach, Florida. As a three-owner example, it shows dealer service throughout the documented history and remained in Florida through the present day. Finished in Smoke Silver Metallic (702) over Mushroom MB-Tex (145), this W202 is powered by a supercharged M111 Inline-4 paired to a 5-speed automatic transmission. The odometer currently shows 53,883 original miles. Features include cruise control, dual-zone climate control, a power sliding sunroof, and an original Becker head unit. The car is now being offered by the selling dealer with a clean Carfax report showing regular service, the factory toolkit, manufacturer’s literature, two keys, and a clean Florida title.
The exterior is finished in Smoke Silver Metallic (702) with paint-matched bumpers and mirror covers. According to the attached Carfax, this C230 Kompressor has not been in any accidents nor had any major body paintwork remaining largely original. Exterior Features include factory smoked tail lights, a power sunroof, original glass, and a front license plate mount.
Original 15x7” wheels are fitted and wear new Dunlop Signature tires measuring 205/60 on all four corners. The wheels are the originals and show no signs of curb rash or bends while the lips and faces still retain the OEM brushed finish.
On the interior, the seats, steering wheel, shift knob, door cards, center console, and dashboard are upholstered in original Mushroom MB-Tex (145) with a Mushroom upper dash and beige headliner. Burl wood veneer accents the dashboard, doors, and center console, including the cup holder and ashtray covers showing no signs of cracks. Interior features include dual-zone climate control, climate REST function, cruise control, power windows, and power-adjustable mirrors. Original beige floor mats showing the embroidered Mercedes-Benz logo and foot pad are included.
The Beige leather steering wheel frames a 160-mph analog speedometer, 7k-rpm tachometer, and a digital odometer with trip function showing 53,883 miles. Additional gauges include fuel level and coolant temperature, along with a digital clock. The digital LCD screens present as they should and show no signs of de-pixelation.
The supercharged 2.3-liter M111 four-cylinder engine was rated at 185 horsepower and 200 lb-ft of torque when new. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a 722.6 five-speed automatic transmission. Recent services include an oil and filter change along with new tires.
The car is now being offered by the selling dealer with a clean Carfax report showing regular service, the factory toolkit, manufacturer’s literature, two keys, and a clean Florida title.
As the second offering from this seller in the last month, we’re getting accustomed to expecting low mileage examples brought to market from South Florida. The C230 Kompressor is a massive hit in this condition for any cars and coffee or Mercedes-benz get together. As cars that were largely bought as utilitarian tools, it’s rare to see them with such low miles and moreover, in such nice shape. The W202 platform is surprisingly nimble and the M111 has been tried and true. With such low mileage and excellent condition, we’re confident this specific car will end up in appreciative hands.

These cars are absolutely under appreciated. Ive got the darn near the same car in the same shape with twice the miles which tells me they hold up well. I get about 30 mpg in mixed city and hwy driving. It's not the fastest car on the road but it'll get you from point A to B in a stylish manner. Lastly, it's a 22 yr old car...it'll need some love from time to time but parts are CHEAP so they are a great value. The new owner is going to LOVE this car
I always loved the smoked taillights on these!
