The Smoke Silver Metallic (702) exterior has reportedly recieved some paintwork on the front and rear driver-side fenders, and rear passenger-side fender as a result of oxidized clear coat in those areas. The seller reports that no rust or corrosion is present on this W140. The factory 16” six-hole wheels have been replaced with 19” AMG Sport wheels from an early W221. Some curbing can be seen on the 19” wheels currently mounted. The original 16” wheels will also be included in the sale.
The cabin is trimmed in original Beige (265) Leather and accented with burlwood trim on the dashboard, center console, and door cards. All electronics are operational including the soft-close door feature, power seats with lumbar support, the rear sunshade, power mirrors, electronic trunk release, all windows, and the factory-optioned car phone (which no longer connects to cell service). The original Becker BE1492 head unit is still in place and reportedly functions as it should. The gauge cluster is free from any fading and the dual display functions as it should. The seller reports the headliner is not sagging and the rear vanity mirrors are operational as well.
The M104 inline six engine produced 228 horsepower and 232 lb-ft of torque when new. This S320 was rated at 17 miles per gallon in the city, 24 on the highway, and carries a 26.4 gallon gas tank. The 5G-Tronic (722.6) transmission has reportedly been serviced regularly and shifts smoothly. The most recent service includes a new accessories belt, fresh oil and filter, a new windshield washer fluid level sensor, and new windshield wipers.
A couple walk-around videos of this long wheelbase 1999 S320 have been provided below along with a complete photo gallery. An original set of OEM carpet floor mats in Beige are included with the sale.

@MBOregon ohhh, that's sad, for both of us, sorry(
Great buy, congratulations @2slow4u! I thought I had it, I don’t think my phone browser was loaded right at the end there. If this car ever comes up again, I’m interested!

@Boatymcboatface yeah stock 16" looks pretty nice as well, as in written in the description, stock wheels coming with a car if someone wants them. Thank you.
Would be a wonderful daily driver. Apparently one of only 886 US market 1999 320LWB. Great color same as my S600. I’m not too excited about these rims but if anybody’s interested I have the correct rims with good Michelin tires. I got the ultimate score of some grand edition AMG Monoblocs for mine last year.
New crazy daily driver? I hope so!

A 1999 model year W140 should not have any wiring harness issues from the factory at all. 99 is arguably the best model year for 140's regardless of engine. The M104 is a great choice and has no issues bringing this land yacht up to speed. GLWTA
w140 looks very clean, a good example of the proper condition of the vehicle for this age, California's climate is the best for the old MB :) good luck
@nvanmali95 Hello, thank you for your interest. I will be glad to answer all your questions: No problems with the wiring harness at all no ERROR codes and etc. No noise from the fan. the AC is running cold and has no leaks at all. The engine runs very smoothly. Transmission shifts perfectly and there is no noticeable thump when accelerating, as might know 722.6 is a very reliable transmission and 76k miles is nothing for it. The car was serviced and inspected recently. Very reliable example indeed. I'm a fan of the w140 body and I know a lot about them. So feel free to ask any questions about the vehicle. Thank you
How is the wiring harness? Is there a fan noise when ignition is in position 2? AC running, any leaks? Engine tapping? Transmission smooth or light thump when shifting? If there’s a light thump when accelerating at normal pace, don’t be afraid to mention, that’s a sign of a healthy Mercedes transmission. Transmission should shift smooth during kick down acceleration. Thanks
