We were looking through our records for the car and found the receipt where the crank shaft position sensor was replaced at Five Star Auto Care which specializes in Mercedes. Front brakes are 80% and rear are 70%. We also did new motor and transmission mounts along with new wiper blades and a new battery.

@993tatsAs with most pre merger AMGs there's no AMG paperwork. Being a US car, the car would've been done at Westmont most likely and then sold through Beverly Hills Motoring. Prior to the work done in 2018, the car had the full AMG kit, wheels, gauges, and suspension already on it.
@dramg yes it does have a painted metal trim. And yes it it’s a factory bumper with added lip.
@wannaallcars @dramg car was acquired as you see it from original owners family except for what was done in 2018. Chrome is painted in over.
@benzgarden was a remanufactured unit. Being ran off a factory TCU. Cost with differential and labor is about $18,000. Car performance is much better than anything from that era. We will do a driving video when time allows. It is far more responsive than even a 6 liter AMG of this era. Shifting is a lot more responsive as it’s now ran off throttle position and speed vs vacuum and kick down switch.

@mb_aaronHello, ABC system is working as it should. We do not have any records of the trans or engine mounts being replaced but they do feel solid in our opinion. Yes everything works as it should to our knowledge. The most recent service was we had the alternator replaced and a new starter battery put in. Safety inspection showed front and rear brakes at 60% remaining and tires at 8/32 front and rear. You are welcome to have the vehicle inspected prior to the auction ending though, please call or email us to arrange.

Hi Everyone, went through the car, AC blows ICE cold, radio works however sound comes out of the passenger speaker only, windows are all operational, Seats all move forward and recline including the rear seat. Small tear and blemish on pass rear seat, a center console button is pushed down and some small cracks on the paint on the hood (will post photos) We think the car is in pretty good condition given the age and miles however anyone is welcome to have a PPI done prior to the auction ending. @sgrotegutUnless stated on carfax we do not have any records of such. @greglinarelli we have owned the car since 2019 thus why the mileage has not changed. @pepaglobal as far as mechanical we just have what is listed in carfax and do not have records of such. The chrome trim on the trunk handle area does show signs of fading. The roof does have some paint fade as well that can be seen in the photo. We do not have any knowledge regarding the engine bay.

Thanks for your questions. This is the original color of the car - Icon Gold Metallic (419). This was the color used in the Mercedes Benz catalog for the 300TD in 1979. Im sending the original window to verify this (along with the original catalog) so The MB Market can add it to the listing. I also have a tremendous number of records dating back to 1994 available for the car in a sleeved binder. The car is 43 years old so there's bound to have been at least some paintwork at some point, but this is 100% the original color of the car. Definitely a rare one! Everything works as intended and A/C is converted to R134. Thanks!

@V8AudiFanI'll check on that wheel well tomorrow and make sure there's no damage. I assume that's just wax but will confirm. We have not done any interior work on the car. The material all looks OEM but I can see what you're probably referring to on the driver seat bottom cushion.
@DutchPWe installed a new ignition rotor and cap, new air pump filter, and did an oil service to the car. There's no other records with the car aside from the service that can be seen on the Carfax report. Thank you

Everything works as it should at the current moment. ABC was gone threw at Mercedes in 2010 I confirmed that by phone with the Mercedes dealer this morning. Paint is in overall great condition and the car would definitely be a great addition for any Mercedes enthusiast. I do not see any sticky buttons and never knew that it was an issue on the W215. Car is ready to be enjoyed. Tires are date coded in 2018. Please let me know if anyone has any other questions. Thank you.

The chrome trim on the trunk handle area does show signs of fading. The roof does have some paint fade as well that can be seen in the photo. Thanks for your questions. This is the original color of the car - Icon Gold Metallic (419). This was the color used in the Mercedes Benz catalog for the 300TD in 1979. Im sending the original window to verify this (along with the original catalog) so The MB Market can add it to the listing. I also have a tremendous number of records dating back to 1994 available for the car in a sleeved binder. The car is 43 years old so there's bound to have been at least some paintwork at some point, but this is 100% the original color of the car. Definitely a rare one!
