The car is finished in Obsidian Black Metallic (197) and features the desirable SL1 AMG Sport package which includes an AMG front spoiler, side skirts, and a rear apron along with factory 18” AMG monoblock wheels. This example also features an electric black soft top, xenon headlights, fog lights, and a removable hardtop. The color matched factory hardtop is in excellent condition as seen in the photos and comes with a stand and cover. The seller notes some minor scrapes along the underside of the front bumper. Detailed photos of the body are viewable in the gallery.
Factory staggered 18” AMG wheels are wrapped in Goodyear Eagle F1 tires showing 2013 date codes. The tires measure 245/40 up front and 275/35 in the rear. The wheels appear free of any significant rash, curbing or peeling and retain their factory machined lips and painted faces.
The cabin features seats trimmed in Black Nappa leather (231) leather with a matching dashboard and Burl Walnut Root veneer accents on the center console, door panels, and steering wheel. Amenities include power-adjustable heated front seats with position memory, automatic climate control, a wind deflector, a factory cassette stereo, and an auto-dimming mirror. The LCD screen on the factory head unit shows well without any missing pixels. The seller reports all interior functions operate as intended including the stereo, all lights, both tops, and ancillary screens.
A leather-wrapped and wood steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer, 7k-rpm tachometer, and clock along with gauges for fuel level, instant economy, coolant temperature, and oil pressure. The digital odometer indicates just over 24k miles since new with linear mileage updates on the Carfax report.
The 5.0-liter M113 V8 was factory-rated at 315 horsepower and 347 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed automatic transmission. Thanks for your interest. The photos show a service performed recently, and no leaks are detected. The video shows full operation of the top and no leaks are noted . This 500SL stayed inside most of its life and the canvas top appears to be original and in excellent shape.
Nice looking car. Are there any leaks from the underneath of the car? Have the 11 cylinders that operate the convertible top been replaced?
Paint appears to be original throughout Paint meter shows 4s and 5s on all panels. This car was kept in a heated garage and it shows ,the paint is really nice.
Hi, is this original paint or re-spray? Noticed the trunk was debadged sometimes done when repainting. Thx.

What we know based on the first paragraph is the car was sold at some point after 999 AD and the current owner took possession sometime between Y2K and now lol. You may want to go in and replace your Xs with numbers as it appears you submitted draft text.
