I was able to locate the original owner's manual which includes all factory literature for the car along with the stamped service booklet from the dealer and all service records. The additional keys are also present and pictured now. Total there are two original key fobs and one valet key. Pictures have been added to the gallery. Thanks and happy bidding!
@BlueridgeMBThank you for your time as well. I would recommend replacement of the tires since they do show older date codes. We decided to leave them so the new owner can choose tires of their choice and also helps support the mileage. Upon close inspection of the rear bumper, the area you're referring to appears to be two indented lines which I suspect likely happened during shipping from Japan. There are no cracks in the bumper but it does have the indentations. The dog ears in front of the rear wheels on each side originally came with a clear bra which over time has been removed. I was able to remove the residue that you see in the pictures with my thumb so that should all come off with a proper detail. We did service the AC and it works wonderfully. The caps for the hi and low for some reason are missing as you pointed out but can be easily screwed back on, thanks for catching that. I'm not sure how much refrigerant was recovered or added unfortunately but it held a vacuum for an extended period with no issues. I've provided some pictures of the compressor to show it appears very clean and tidy. It was likely already replaced at some point. Pictures should be in the gallery now.
It's on a clear Tennessee title.
It has a clear Tennessee title. Paint looks to be original with no signs of paint work.

Thanks for the bidding, I would respond by saying the excellent paint and interior condition result from being in a heated garage. The top looked fresh when we had it up recently as if used very little if at all. Recent fuel system service and brake service were completed after being in storage. A great classic for any collection or ready for weekend outings. .
A/C blows cold pic #253 show r134 conversion

No rear headrest or shade are with the wagon. The radio works well as do the power windows and antenna. The Virginia inspection covers brakes ,tires, headlights, and all safety related items. I can try to test the A/C compressor in the shop on Monday. Having been stored all these years the overall condition is really impressive.
Good morning , thanks for the interest in this great Mercedes wagon. It has been in a private collection locally. It was stored in a heated garage and only driven occasionally. It has lived its life in Virginia. The paint appears to be original with the exception of a small area around the rear antenna . The chrome and brightwork are in exceptional shape without corrosion or pitting. The interior is all original and shows little to no wear. There are extensive service records available. It has recently had an oil change and inspection performed. It drives and handles well. No mechanical issues I'm aware of. Its been too cold to run the A/C . No visible leaks . The condition is extraordinary ,and has been stored inside a climate controlled garage. Just had a service performed, oil change and trans fluid. Also replaced the motor mounts that were starting to dry out. MP
Thanks for your interest. The photos show a service performed recently, and no leaks are detected. The video shows full operation of the top and no leaks are noted . This 500SL stayed inside most of its life and the canvas top appears to be original and in excellent shape.
Paint appears to be original throughout Paint meter shows 4s and 5s on all panels. This car was kept in a heated garage and it shows ,the paint is really nice.
