A driving video has been provided by the seller below.
After the success of the W210 E55, AMG needed to turn up the performance for the W211 to attract new attention, and turn up the performance they did! Fitting a helical supercharger and intercoolers, AMG was able to increase the output of the M113 by over 100 horsepower and reach a whopping 516 lb-ft of torque. This super-sedan was able to reach 60 mph in just 4.5 seconds and claimed the title of world’s fastest sedan in 2003. Combined with an Airmatic Dual Control suspension, the W211 E55 was able to beat nearly any car off the line and cruise at triple-digit speeds all while maintaining a level of ride comfort that was up to the highest of Mercedes-Benz standards. This example shows 157k on the clock, but given the reliability of the M13K and 722.6 transmission, it’s hardly a worry. With a plethora of optional equipment and a unique Blue/Blue color combination, this example offers phenomenal value for anyone looking to get their hands on some AMG muscle.

I almost bought this car from the previous owner. Nice clean car with a lot of rare options
@OnTheHunt very understandable. It’s a solid example for the miles, moreover this amount of mileage is a walk in the park for this platform.
@HLEBTABUNOU the unique color combination alone should have brought that. If I weren't looking for a much lower mileage one this would have been it no doubt.
@OnTheHunt solid guess!
I'm guessing reserve was at about $15k.

@Youngclassicamg the pulleys/tensioners we’re installed but I’m not sure if both belts were replaced or only the main one. This was done beginning of 2022.
@Youngclassicamg just snapped the pictures of what you requested, I’m just trying to figure out a way to get them to you. And as for the supercharger pulleys and belt I’m waiting on word from the previous owner. Also, to add to my previous answer, I have an extra new brake rotor for the car.
can you snap some more pics of the undercarriage for example the cv axle area and the trans and pinch welds etc. Also was there any service done on the supercharger puller and the other pulleys and belt. I saw that the water pump was done a while ago. Thank you
@Youngclassicamg complete brake job was done on all 4 wheels, pads and rotors, sometime at the end of 2021 or beginning of 2022 Air struts were replaced both in the front I believe and on the driver side in the rear. I think only the passinger side in the rear is original. The transmission is smooth. I’ve never noticed anything out of the ordinary. The only issue I would address if I were to keep the car is there is the infamous ball joint squeak coming from the front when the car gets going from a stop. It’s a relatively cheap fix. Aside from the rock chips in the front I see no imperfections in the clear coat. There are slight door dings on some parts of the car that are visible under certain light conditions.
Hello have the brakes been changed no record of them being done and they are pretty expensive on these cars. Also I noticed a lot of checkins stating transmission services such as the trans connector which can be problematic. I did not see any records of the air struts being replaced are they currently oem and or aftermarket. Any idea when they were last changed if at all. How does the car currently shift and are there any issues that you would address if you were to keep the car. Also aside from the rock chips and clear coat issues on the front bumper are there any other clear coat issues on the body of the car. Thank you

@Maor sure thing. Let me know of any additional questions!
ok so just the normal maintenance nothing special. got it Thank you
@Maor thanks for your comment! Since I purchased the car, first order or business was to do engine and trans mounts, which changed the feel of the car completely. New set of Advan Apex tires came next along with an alignment, and not too long after I installed a new Bosch alternator, which carries a lifetime warranty from FCPEuro as well as a new battery, which has a 3 year warranty. Those were the major items. I also removed the old tints, treated and hydrated the leather, as well as detailed the wheels to remove old baked on brake dust. The reason I must part with it is because I got a job opportunity in Madrid, Spain, and I will be staying there for the foreseeable future. I’d have nowhere to keep the car, and if I did, it would just sit slammed on the ground in a parking spot wasting it’s life away. This is a special car in my eyes and I would much rather have it go to a person who can use it and care for it. That’s why I turned to this enthusiast website.
Good evening, what have you done to the car in the last 2 months? and what is the reason of selling in within 2 months since last purchased? Thank you
@Batman7108 im not sure, I haven’t gone to get an appraisal. From what I see the roof itself works, it’s just one of the motors that appears to be blocked by something when attempting to close.
Any estimate on what it will take to get the pano roof working?
@Maor I recall the previous owner mentioning your interest. I had since put much love and attention into the car. I wish you luck this time my friend.
I almost bought this car back in January when it was up for sale locally. maybe this will be the time .
@Stathios I agree! The spec and the condition are what initially drew me to this particular example.
What a gorgeous spec. Looks like my wagon
@BlueridgeMB Hey! Thanks for the comment! If you look at the YouTube video attached you can see the keyless go in action, as well as the driver side seat controls, however, I have failed to demonstrate the functions of the passenger side seat controls in the video, but rest assured that it works perfectly just like every other function in the interior. There is an issue with the pano roof. It will open, but it will not close as the mechanism is getting stuck somewhere so it will have to be addressed if the breeze through your hair is important to you. As I remember Mercedes said that the whole suspension on the passenger side was replaced before they did the wheel alignment at the beginning of 2022. Im pretty sure it’s in the records. And recently on the driver side the upper ball-joint and the lower-rear control arm were replaced.
$5,000 bid placed by @JudicialBranch
Any plans to demonstrate the pano roof and keyless go all working as it should? Bladders in the PSE system/seats still working? Just to double check, ya'll changed one control arm and one ball joint? MB stipulates items of that nature are always to be done in pairs FWIW. TY!
