This 2004 Mercedes-Benz S430 4Matic was reportedly sold new in November 2003 by Mercedes-Benz of Wilmington, Delaware and shows only two owners since new. Finished in Pewter/Cubanite Silver Metallic (723) over Anthracite leather (271), this S430 features heated front seats, factory COMAND, and an electric sunshade for the rear glass. Power comes from a 4.3-liter V8 mated to a five-speed automatic transmission. Recent service includes replacement of all four airmatic airstruts and an oil/fluid service. This W220 currently shows 91,838 miles and is offered with factory literature, an original tool kit, two remote key fobs, a clean Carfax, partial service history, and a clean Massachusetts title. 

Finished in Pewter/Cubanite Silver Metallic (723), the body features a chrome grill, chrome trim around the beltline as well as the front and rear color-matched bumpers. The paint and finish presents very well with no major blemishes visible on the body, as per the photos in the gallery.  Rock chips on the front bumper have been remediated, and a rock ship and door ding are noted on the rear driver’s side fender with detailed photos in the gallery. Additional equipment includes a glass sunroof with tilt function, door and trunk closing assist, and auto-dimming side-view mirrors with integrated signal lighting. The selling dealer notes that the soft close function for the driver’s door is inoperable.

Silver 16″ seven-spoke alloy wheels are wrapped in 225/60 Continental ExtremeContact Sport Plus tires all around. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel disc brakes with cross-drilled front rotors. Corrosion is visible on the lug nuts but the remainder of the car is reportedly rust free with the exception of minor underbody corrosion on fasteners and suspension components. Extensive underside photos are viewable in the gallery. The selling dealer reports that all four airmatic airstruts were replaced with Arnott units between 2021-22. 

The cabin is trimmed in Anthracite leather (271) accented by the original Burl Walnut wood trim on the center console, doors, and dashboard. The original floor mats are fitted and will accompany the car. Features include multi-contour and heated front seats, automatic climate control, an electric sunroof and rear sunshade, and premium sound. The rear seats feature controls for the rear sunshade along with drop-down vanity mirrors and fold-out ash trays in the rear door cards. The car remains fully original and still retains the factory COMAND with navigation. 

Instrumentation includes a 160-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer with a 6k-rpm redline, and a digital odometer with trip function. The digital odometer shows 91,838 original miles. Additional gauges include fuel level, coolant temperature and a digital clock.

The 4.3-liter M113 V8 was rated at 275 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque when new and is paired with a 722.6 automatic five-speed transmission. A redacted VMI service history document from the original owner is included with the sale showing all services from 2004-2008 including tires and fluids. The attached Carfax report shows 27 primarily dealer service visits in Delaware, Florida, and Connecticut.
