This 2003 Mercedes-Benz SL55 AMG features a full Carlsson CK55 RS upgrade which includes an upgraded supercharger pulley, intercooler, injectors, ECU tune, speed delimiter, and stainless steel exhaust with high flow catalysts. The car was sold new in Florida and has spent time in Texas and California with just 52k miles on the odometer. Finished in Brilliant Silver Metallic (744) over custom Grey Leather (261), power is provided by a hand-built 5.4-liter supercharged V8 mated to a five-speed AMG SpeedShift automatic transmission. Additional Carlsson upgrades include lightweight forged wheels, stainless steel exhaust, front lip, lowering links, and a custom interior trim. Equipment includes a power-retractable hardtop, multicontour heated seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, Bi-Xenon headlamps, a 6-Disc CD changer and an 8-speaker Bose audio system. Recent maintenance includes a new supercharger intercooler and sway bar end links. This Carlsson SL55 AMG is now offered for sale by the selling dealer with original manufacturer's literature, a clean Carfax report and a clean California title.
The exterior is finished in Brilliant Silver Metallic (744) and features AMG body styling, AMG quad exhaust tips and a Carlsson front lip splitter. Additional exterior features include a power-retractable hardtop, Bi-Xenon headlamps with automatic level adjustment, quad Carlsson exhaust tips, and heated windshield washers. Photos show minor rock chips and scrapes on the front lip. No accidents or damage reports are shown on the Carfax.
Lightweight forged Carlsson wheels are finished in chrome and come fitted with Continental ExtremeContact tires measuring 255/40 front and 285/35 rear with date codes from 2022. Normal wear and minor curb rash is visible on the wheel. 8-piston Carlsson calipers are fitted up front with 4-pistons in the rear wearing blue paint and white Carlsson lettering. Authentic Carlsson center caps are fitted on each wheel. A Carlsson lowering module lowers the ride height by 30mm and new sway bar end links have been recently installed.
The AMG steering wheel features Carlsson leather trim and frames two-tone gauges with a 160-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer and gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature. The digital odometer currently shows 52k miles from new.
This hardtop SL is powered by a hand-built 5.4-liter supercharged V8 engine which features a full Carlsson CK55 RS kit including an upgraded supercharger pulley, intercooler, injectors, ECU tune, speed delimiter, and stainless steel exhaust with high flow catalysts. Carlsson reports power output to be 580hp and 575 lb-ft of torque with this kit. Power is sent to the rear wheels through an AMG SpeedShift five-speed automatic transmission. Recent maintenance items include a new supercharger intercooler and sway bar end links. Underbody photos have been provided in the gallery showing the full Carlsson exhaust.
The Carfax report shows registration in Florida, Texas, and California with linear mileage updates from new, and no accident or damage reports. This Carlsson SL55 AMG is now offered for sale with original manufacturer's literature, a clean Carfax report, and a clean California title.
