Congrats @Madwookie308! Super stoked the 250 TD is going to a new home. We'll be in touch soon to arrange next steps. Thanks to all bidders!
@h2o_snow @th_boone Hey guys. Thanks for the questions. I haven’t taken it on the highway or an onramp, but driving it around town has been excellent. The car feels nice and tight given the super low miles (relative for one of these) and the suspension/steering/shifting is excellent. It’s no racecar, but having the manual makes a huge difference in feel and performance. Both this car, and the 300CD I previously listed on The MB Market, are rated as similarly sluggish from the factory, but having three pedals goes a long way to offsetting that in this amazing little wagon. I wouldn’t hesitate to drive it every day but would certainly do fresh fluids, brakes, consumables, etc. before putting it into daily duty....as with any classic. To be fair, I’m no diesel expert and my daily driver wagon is a Taycan, but I’m sure a skilled manual driver could use this everyday with no concerns about the acceleration from a safety perspective. I hope that helps. I’ll try to answer more questions but I’ve got a busy week rescuing some steam-powered antique Stanleys so I’ll try to pop back in when possible. The wagon’s owner was a great guy and this will sell at NO RESERVE so bid to win! Thanks again and Good Luck to all bidders!
@OldMBThank you. The rear headrests are not with the vehicle. Photos/vids of the tow hitch and underbody/suspension coming over the next 24-36 hours and will be added to the listing. No third row seating - there's a storage compartment under the rear floor (where the third row would normally be) as per the listing description. Photographs of this storage compartment are in the gallery as well (See photos #237-238). Also, the fuse box cover IS present and in good shape. I just forgot to put it back when I was taking photos. Thanks again and Good Luck, bidders!
Thank you to all the bidders so far! Looking forward to meeting the winner of this awesome coupe soon and, in case you missed my instagram update, the roof paint has been touched up and looks stellar. I know the next owner will really enjoy this super-clean time capsule for years to come...Good Luck!
@Roberthickey698Thanks for your question. The interior specialists from Fibrenew will be here on Friday to make sure the top section of the rear seatback looks as fresh as the rest of this amazing interior! Thanks and good luck, bidders!
