@DanSohhhh, ok, that never never happens in America. Not even at the Mercedes dealership,
@DanShow would someone writing in a booklet certify the milage?
@DanSnothing happened. I don’t see what you’re seeing.
@Andrii It would be possible. I’m leaving town Saturday afternoon and won’t be back until Monday night. My email is [email protected]
@ClutchThe brake does need to be engaged to use the top. It would also come on if you turn the Key and not start the car as well as when you do start it for a few moments.
I also want to add that the pull down cover to the center console is jammed. I’m too afraid to pull hard on it,
@MercedesDad the damping system does work. I took pics of the car both up and down. I also got a pic of the visors and roll bar leather. It’s perfect. The lights between the 2 visors aren’t coming on. I’ll look for the fuse. I’ll post the pics with some help of the owner of MB.
@WyomingOutlaw I took a better pic of it. It’s molded plastic so it’s not “bent”. There’s a 2 inch crack on the right side and a screw that’s not attached. The part of it on the left side of the car it is attached. I’ll post the pic when I figure out how.
@DanSI took some videos of the undercarriage and post it as soon as I figure out how. Haha
@Cookingonline oh, there are no leaks.
@MercedesDadhey Dad! I’ll snag some pics of the roll bar, it’s in perfect condition. The previous owner had the hood pad replaced and I made sure the photographer got a pic of its 9/10 condition. The a/c is perfect, as well as the visors. I’ve never pushed the up down button, but I will and let you know. The hydraulics were redone by Ledbetters in Tampa. They only work on Mercedes. European Performance is who recently did the suspension work. At any day they have $100mil in cars they are working on. You should go walk through their garages!!!! Haha just gorgeous vehicles.
@Cookingonline the wooden steering wheel was an optional upgrade for that year and model.
@DanSEver since I bought the car it’s been wooden.
@DanSHello, yes it is. It folds up and is currently folded and in the back area.
Hello, I’m Dave and this is my car. I absolutely love it and really hate to sell it but it’s the best for me AND the car. Typical, my job switched up and I’m only around 1/3 of the year. I keep it in storage with a bunch of other collector cars that other individuals own. The feel of the wooden steering wheel really gets you going when you sit in it. The interior is pristine and the older man I bought it from wasn’t going to let me sit in it if I had buttons on my back pockets. Haha. He was putting about 100 miles a year on it. For all the reasons that’s great there’s all the reasons it isn’t. Once it started to get used just 1000 miles a year some things failed but that was expected and I had it fixed. The car runs effortlessly! My mechanic shop will have $100mil plus in fine cars they are working on at any one moment and the owner said to me “they just don’t make them this good anymore”. That gave me serious considerations to not selling. But here we are. Whoever gets it will be in love. I’m not a super technical car guy but I’ll do my best to answer all questions. All the best, Dave
Another gorgeous car you brought for some of us poor people to admire.
@Stuttgart_SteelGood for you!!!! What a dream of an occupation.
I’d love to follow the cars you get if you have a website/dealership?
Hello, what’s the plan for shipping? I bought some wheels from here and the shipping was $1200 because the seller didn’t know any other way.
Hello, I don’t live too far from Boca. What’s the name of your store? Thanks
Usually these wheels always say that they fit both the W140 and the R129. Surly that’s the case here? Thanks
