All, As we enter the last 24 hours of the auction, I wanted to check in and let everyone know I am here to answer your questions. The team at MB Marketplace will be uploading pictures of the hardtop tomorrow,, along with a few of the dashboard which is free and clear of any cracks. Not sure if I mentioned earlier, I acquired this car from Freddie at Unique Cars of Palm Beach. Freddie is well known for representing and sourcing great examples of collectible MB 560SL and 2680SL. I have truly enjoyed owning this car and have done my best to preserve it by having dry-ice cleaning completed to the entire underside along with a complete interior and exterior detailing. Prospective Buyers, I have only owned this beautiful Mercedes Benz for 2 years, but I am tell this car has been a joy to drive and own. My primary reason for selling it is because I only get to enjoy it for 6 months of the year. The car is in great condition and needs to be enjoyed by someone who lives in a warm climate. I purchased this car from Unique Cars of Palm Beach, a dealer who specializes in the restoration and maintenance of Mercedes Benz’s, in particular 560SL.
AC has not been converted and is in good condition. During my period of ownership, no engine repairs have been required. To the best of my knowledge, no major engine repairs were completed by the previous owner either. The previous owner specialized in the restoration and repairs to Mercedes Benz 280 SL and 560Sl.
@TheGerman Later today, the several service records, from my period of ownership, along with an invoice from Leading Edge Autosports, LLC for dry-ice cleaning and a copy of the original window sticker will be added to this listing. I hope these invoices answers your questions.
@TheGerman Hello, I have only service records from my ownership (There are only about 4 for oil changes, annual inspection and minor repairs). Car has been garage kept since I have owned in (March 2021), Stored in a heated garage during the winter months. I will send you the service records.
