I’m out. Good luck fafafa
The W140 is the sweet spot for me. I find the W126 bit old in driving dynamics and the W220 plastic with a blah design.
Hi seller, can i trouble you for a close up pic of center armrest
Congrats to buyer! You got a great deal!
No seat heaters. That was a rare option back in 1995.
Last 30 minutes everyone. This car will be sold for no reserve. Spent $4k on major service getting it ready for the next 100,000 carefree miles. I suspect someone will score a great buy today. Solid rust free basically one owner southern california car. This car will outlive all of us.
You know how it is. When you get into a cold car you max the heat setting to get heat as quick as possible. When i did the test drive the hvac system was set to off.
I did not notice the temp gauge acting erratically in the videos. When I did the videos the car was cold. I will drop off the car at my mercedes mechanic to give final inspection to ensure everything is working properly prior to handing over the car. Yes the hvac works as design.
@carcrazy24 Apologies, overlook that part of your question. No, unfortunately I no longer have the original radio. The current radio supports bluetooth streaming. But I can understand how certain owners would prefer the original radio as I would, they are readily available on ebay.
@classicrides when the mechanic completed the full service he checked the hydraulic system and deemed it in proper working order
@carcrazy24 yes the items you inquire about all work. Are you interested to bid on the car?
Drives in perfect form. No play in steering.
@roup1 Good morning. Well that is one of life's big mystery on why it has a salvage title. Looking into the carfax it was owned by original owner from 1995 to 2020. Fully serviced at Mercedes dealer Downtown LA until 2011 at 110,182 miles. It appears that was some damaged in the front in April 2012, looks like the front bumper. By then the car was 17 years old with 110k miles the insurance company probably totaled it out, paid the owner the value of the car and let them keep it. Owner probably fixed the damage and kept driving it till 2020. It was smogged in oct 2012 so everything seems normal. We had our independent Mercedes Certified tech service the car with instructions to make it as good as new. He changed all the fluids, new brakes, fuel lines, all engine and transmission mounts, etc. When he removed the valve cover he commented the internals look as good as new with no noticeable wear. In the video i showed the car starts right up instantly with no extended cranking necessary that reflects the fuel delivery and compression is in top condition. The value in this car is the $4000 spent on recent servicing to restore it to top running condition. For those not bother by a designation in the title this represents great value for a daily driver.
