@jspitzHello I added 3 pictures of the only 3 spots I could find on the chassis and/or doors, in addition to the antenna. I was told that the car was in a garage in Montreal before with the previous owner. Please let me know if you need anything else. Pics already uploaded and to be activated by TheMBmarket hopefully today.
@jspitz Hello I am posting some pictures today...it seem some type of corrugated plastic that was put there to prevent, I guess, snow or something from coming inside. The car had a heavy coat of some type of protection. You can see on door pictures some details as well.
@phkiii I do not know if the car was advertised on classic.com or other sites before I purchased it. I bought if after I saw it on BaT.
@jspitz Correct on BaT. Please see my comment above about the km. Please let me know if you want more details (when it was purchased or arrived to Florida, I believe I have that information)
@phkiii Hello. I bought the car from BaT. The car was in Canada at the time and took over there months to bring it to Florida (snow storms and other issues). It later took me several weeks to get it registered. Pierre Hedary (Mechanic in Titusville) worked on the car (mainly AC) after I got it licensed in Florida. Later I notice the odometer not working properly. Some times it would work and some times it would not. I informed about this situation to The MB Market. I honestly do not know if the miles reflected when I bought the car were a true representation of how many miles have been put on the engine. I do not think I have driven the car the 6,000 miles. I traveled overseas for some months and when in town I would not drive it on long distance trip. Just around town. I am posting another picture with the odometer reading as of today...incidentally the odometer has been working for the last days and you can see 59 km registered.
@Bugi1952 Hello, Yes, absolutely. I am located in Indialantic, Florida. You can come an test drive the car any time. I am in real estate and am in an out. I will send you my address and phone as well.
@jspitzHello Jspitz, absolutely, I will take a picture with a close up around the antenna and try to find any other spots. This W124 lived for a while in Montreal, Canada. When I came to Florida it was heavily protected against underneath rusting with some type of thick coat. Also wanted to thank you @nrajput90 and @ottobenz for the nice comments regarding the W124. I am not an expert but I feel it is a very special car. Thanks.
