The center infotainment screen and digital clock and outside temperature gauge are fully functional with all working pixels. The digital odometer indicates 16k miles, approximately 15k of which were added by the original owner between 2002 and 2022.
The 5.0-liter M113 V8 was factory rated at 302 horsepower and 339 lb-ft of torque when new. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed automatic transmission. @vido I have not tested the vacuum system. Everything seems to be working correctly. PPIs are welcome at your expense.
@vido if I had to guess shipping to CA would cost approximately $2000. However I’m not 💯 sure. I’m also unsure what California emission laws are on older cars. That’s something you’d have to ask.
@pjkieff Hi pjkieff. Sorry for the delay. I’ve been traveling and have had terrible internet service. The suspension works great. No issues. I don’t have any other service records outside of what you see here. I could contact the Mercedes dealer if you like. However I do t believe there will be any new information. The fluids were checked after receiving the car and they look clean and new. There is no damage, no nick on the right rear area, and no clear coat issues at all. This car has excellent paint that measures perfectly as you can see in the pictures. There are 3 or 4 small rock chips on the lower area of the front bumper and front of the hood. 3 or 4 total on the car from driving it. I didn’t touch them up. They are very very small. There is no damage in the interior anywhere and the window seals are in excellent condition. All keys are included and work. The push button start works as well. If the car had issues it would be noted in the ad. Again this has to be one of the nicest, older, CL500s in the world. The only reason for selling is because it was purchased as a gift for the wife and unfortunately, she didn’t like the car.
@HarryB Sorry for the delay. I’ve been traveling and haven’t had the best access to the internet. The fluids were changed prior to us acquiring the car. My technician looked at the fluids and everything looks new and clean. The suspension works great. No issues at all. As for the trunk…it doesn’t seem that the power feature is working. The AMG badging, to my knowledge, is part of the AMG sport package. It’s my understanding that everything on this car is stock as it came from the factory.

Please answer previous questions about ABC suspension, was the fluid changed, any previous repairs and does ABC function properly. Is there a mark on the body paint in the R/R wheel picture to the front of the wheel well? Are there any imperfections in the clear coat that commonly show with silver metallic? Is that damage to the left interior A pillar trim panel? The window seal also looks to possibly have damage in the same picture. Does keyless entry work properly? Thank You, Paul K.
Can you post the service records? The last service on the Carfax is 2004!

I just have a few questions before the auction closes, what fluids were flushed?, Does the rear trunk function as it should, without any noises, from the hydraulic motor or anything else, is the AMG badging factory or was it dealer installed? is the ABC system functioning properly?

Incredibly low mileage for this touring coupe. Looks about as I remember them sitting on the showroom floors back in 2002. GLWA!
@vido hi there - following up on the couple questions above. please let me know, and adding a couple more: - has the abc / vacuum system been tested for leaks? - would a ppi be possible to arrange? thanks much!!
hi there! such a gorgeous example of the cl couple questions - what is estimated cost to ship to ca - anything in this car that would put it at risk of passing emissions in california? thanks!
One outstanding example here.
The he undercarriage looks as good as the rest of the car. It’s absolutely perfect. I will take a few pictures and see if we can get them added. The bottom of the car is as nice as the rest. I don’t think this car has a very even seen rain
How does the underbody look?
