This 1989 Mercedes-Benz 300E is finished in Arctic White (147) over a Gray MB-Tex (178) interior, and power comes from a 3.0-liter M103 Inline-6 paired to a four-speed automatic transmission. The current owner acquired the car on The MB Market in 2021 and has given the car an impressive mechanical and cosmetic refresh over the last 8 months. Recent service includes replacement of the front struts and rear shocks, engine and transmission mounts, a transmission service, a power steering service, a cooling system service with replacement of all hoses, and a fuel injection service including: new injectors, new OVP relay, new fuel filter, new O2 sensor, new fuel pressure regulator, new idle control valve, and vacuum hoses. The seller also replaced the valve cover gasket, the upper timing cover gasket, spark plugs, plug wires, cap & rotor, the rear brake rotors, front and rear ceramic pads, transmission shifter bushings, high intensity headlights, new headlight covers, and refinished Zebrano wood trim. The AC was converted to R134 w/new seals, a new instrument cluster potentiometer was installed, and all four jack mounts were replaced under the car. Features include a power sunroof, cruise control, automatic climate control, and power windows. This 300E currently shows 131,800 miles on the analog odometer and is being offered by the seller with recent service records, manufacturer’s literature, two keys, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Utah title.
Finished in Arctic White (147) with contrasting Gray bumpers and black trim, the body presents original paintwork and shows no signs of corrosion. A partially faded grey pinstripe still accents the body lines on each side of the car. Exterior features include glass headlamps with wipers, a painted power sunroof, and a power antenna. The seller notes that the headlight wipers have been disabled and new HID headlamps and headlamp covers have been installed.
This 300E wears 15” Gullideckel wheels wrapped in new General Altimax tires measuring 205/65 with original painted center caps installed. The wheels show no signs of curb rash or bends. The front struts and rear shocks were replaced along with rear brake rotors, front and rear ceramic pads, and all four jack mounts.
The cabin is trimmed in Gray MB-Tex (178) across the seats, door cards, head rests, armrest, center console, and lower dashboard. The steering wheel is wrapped in contrasting Black leather along with a Black upper dash. The original Gray carpets and floor mats remain with the car and can be seen in the gallery below. Zebrano wood trim accents the cabin and was recently refinished by the seller to remediate any cracks or fading. An original Becker Grand Prix head unit remains intact and operational. Additional features include automatic climate control, a driver’s side front airbag, power adjustable front seats, and heated rear glass. The seller reports that the AC was converted to R134 with all new seals in the past 8 months.
The black leather steering wheel frames a 160mph speedometer and a 7k-rpm tachometer featuring an analog clock, along with gauges for coolant temperature, fuel level, and oil pressure. The six-digit odometer now shows 131,800 miles; 5,000 of which have been added by the seller.

Yes, it came without the badge. Should have paid more attention to proper placement. Heat gun and gentle prying for easy removal
I noticed the 300E emblem on the rear trunk lid is sitting slightly high. Can it be easily removed or adjusted?
I couldn't have said it any better @1600Speciale_INNIT. My intent was to restore it to dependable and long lasting condition. Not up to mint, but clean. Was hoping to pass it on the kids. It's been my weekly driver and I still get looks from someone in a newer E63 with 500hp. Super tough decision to let her go. I'm confident she'll find a great home. Cheers and best wishes to all in the closing hours.

Lots of good work here. Not specifically in the market for a 124 but if any of you are, take note. There aren't many like this that people are willing to part with. Good luck to the seller!

I'm almost tempted to bid just for the amount of work that's been put into this one. This car should run forever!
@nrajput90, Videos were a little sub par. New videos will be taken this evening. Thanks for noticing.

Good morning friends. This was a tough decision to let this go. I bought it as a temporary means while my 99 turbo diesel was down. After becoming more familiar with the nuances of KE-JET fuel systems, and bringing the car back to a true Mercedes experience, I became very fond of what I had. You won't compete with a Tesla off the line, but on the road, it's a joy to drive. Other than a few tricky maintenance items, such as the driver side engine mount, most repairs were done by me. From my pilot background, many of them as preventative measures or "while I'm in there" sort of thinking. As seen in the photos, a ton of new and extra parts...some moderately spendy. I will check the site a few times a day and respond to questions as quickly and accurately as possible. Cheers
Still swear these are some of the best built cars to ever exist. Kudos to the seller, love seeing these on the road.
