This 1995 Mercedes-Benz SL600 was sold and registered to the first owner in Canada with import to the United States occurring in 2000. The SL was registered in Monterey, California seeing regular service from Mercedes-Benz of Monterey until 2010 when it moved to Arizona where it remained registered through present day. It shows 60k original miles with a note on the Carfax showing when it was converted from kilometers in 2010. While Carfax reports this as a potential odometer rollback scenario, the kilometer to mile conversion reads accurate. Finished in Black (040) over Exclusive Black Leather (571), power is provided by a 6.0-liter V12 mated to a four-speed automatic transmission driving the rear wheels. Factory equipment includes a removable hardtop in Black (040), a black power soft top, remote central locking, heated seats, automatic climate control and a deployable roll bar. The included Carfax report shows 46 records in total and records accompany the car showing nearly $15k of maintenance performed since 2020 including new upper and lower harnesses, new suspension accumulators, complete fluid and filter services, new brakes, and new tires. This SL600 is now offered by the current owner with two keys, the original manufacturer’s literature, a clean Carfax report, a hardtop stand, and a clean Arizona title.
The exterior is finished in Black (040) with matching lower body cladding and a paint-matched removable hardtop. Exterior features include a power folding Black soft top, front and rear fog lamps, heated and power-adjustable door mirrors and remote central locking. The included Carfax report shows a clean history free from accidents or damage and the nose of the car shows minor rock chips. Detailed photos of the exterior can be found in the gallery.
The 16” OEM alloy wheels have been fitted with a set of new Michelin tires measuring 225/55. The owner states the photos of the car were taken prior to the tires being installed. The standard Adaptive Damping System provides driver-selectable ride height and stiffness. New accumulators for the suspension were installed under prior ownership in 2020. The wheels show light wear and can be seen in detailed photos.
The cabin is upholstered in Exclusive Black Leather (571) with a leather upper dashboard and Burl Walnut wood trim which lines the center console, gear selector, and door panels. Both seats are heated with 10-way power adjustability and three-position memory. Additional interior amenities include a power tilt/telescope steering column, automatic climate control, cruise control, a pop-up roll bar, a trunk-mounted 6-disc CD changer, and an OEM Becker head unit.
A wood/leather steering wheel fronts analog instrumentation consisting of a 160-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, an analog clock and gauges for fuel level, fuel economy, coolant temperature and oil pressure. The digital odometer currently shows 60k miles from new.
This R129 roadster is powered by a 6.0-liter M120 V12 engine which is rated for 389 horsepower and 420 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission. The included Carfax report shows 46 records in total and records accompany the car showing nearly $15k of maintenance performed since 2020 including new upper and lower harnesses, new suspension accumulators, complete fluid and filter services, new brakes, and new tires.
The Carfax report shows a documented history from new. This SL600 is now offered by the current owner with two keys, the original manufacturer’s literature, a clean Carfax report, a hardtop stand, and a clean Arizona title.
The seller has included the following video showing two walk arounds, top operation, and roll bar operation.
The R129 is quickly growing in popularity in the classic car market as the next SL to own. As the focus has now turned to some of the 90's Sacco-era designs, enthusiasts and collectors are on the hunt for clean R129s. Specifically, those with the M120 V12 under the hood are leading the way from a value standpoint. This SL600 comes with the one option we say is nearly a must-have via heated seats. In combination with a clean history and low mileage, this R129 is sure to provide great value and fun to a collector looking for a taste of the 90s with that venerable V12 powerplant.

@R129hoarder Yes it is a beautiful car (it's a real head turner) and so enjoyable to drive with that magnificent V-12 powering it. Thank you for the kind words. This is a good looking car. Probably fair to say only a little over 1000 95 models exist. Black on black is timeless and heated seats are good to have for those transitional months. Good luck with the sale @seller!$16,000 bid placed by @ECRane

@WyomingOutlaw The 8 hole spare is the OEM spare and the 12 hole rims currently on the car are factory OEM. Also, there are 4 brand new Continental ContiProContact tires I recently had installed only 400 miles ago. Mercedes does offer different OEM rims other than the OEM rims on my car. Thank you for asking.@WyomingOutlaw The spare is the OEM 8 hole rim. The twelve hole rims on the car are the OEM rims. There are other OEM versions of rims for the R129.OEM wheels are supposed to be the 8 holes as shown on spare correct?$12,500 bid placed by @txmblover

You can see the receipts for the harnesses and hydraulics as well as all other recent work in photos 133-144 listed.Yes, there are receipts showing all the electrical harnesses were replaced by Scottsdale European of Scottsdale AZ. The hydraulics over the windshield area were replaced as well. Those are photos 133 through 144. That said, best practice is to replace all the hydraulics seals for the hard and soft top system at the same time. I have arranged to have all the hydraulics replaced this Monday June 8th to insure perfect operation of the system over the long term. I will post the receipt for the work performed as well as the warranty for the work done. Thank you for your question. I hope I answered it satisfactorily. Please feel free to ask me anything else that may come to mind.Nice car! Have the top hydraulics and wiring harness been replaced? Thank you.
