This 1996 Mercedes-Benz S320 was first registered in Florida and now shows 94k miles with registration history in Tennessee and Georgia across three total owners. It is finished in Brilliant Silver Metallic (744) with gray lower cladding over a Gray (244) leather interior, and equipment includes power-adjustable front seats, a power sunroof, soft-close doors, burl wood trim, and automatic climate control. Power is provided by a 3.2-liter M104 inline-six paired with a five-speed automatic transmission. This W140 is now offered by the selling dealer in Atlanta, GA with manufacturer's literature, two keys, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Tennessee title.
The exterior of this long-wheelbase W140 is finished in Brilliant Silver Metallic (744) with gray lower body cladding and features a power glass sunroof with tilt function, chrome trim at the beltline and bumpers, and front headlight washers. The paint is believed to be all original with matching panels all around. Imperfections to the top of the front bumper are noted in the gallery below.
Factory 16” alloy 8-hole wheels wear Michelin Primacy MXV4 tires measuring 225/60. The wheels have a polished finish with OEM center caps and the seller notes the tires are older. An original spare wheel and tire with the factory tool kit is located in the trunk.
The interior is trimmed in Gray leather (244) with matching door panels and carpeting paired to Burl wood interior trim along the dashboard, center console, and doors. Equipment includes power-adjustable front seats with memory, power windows and door locks, soft-close doors and trunk, cruise control, automatic climate control, and dual-front airbags. The seller notes the third brake light is functional but missing the interior cover, and the passenger side vanity mirror cover also needs to be replaced. Photos are provided of all interior details in the gallery.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel fronts VDO instrumentation including a 160-mph speedometer, 7k-rpm tachometer, and a digital odometer showing 94k miles. Additional auxilary guages include fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and instant economy. The burl-trimmed dashboard houses a lockable glovebox, climate controls, and an OEM cassette stereo.
The 3.2-liter M104 inline-six rated at 228 horsepower and 238 lb-ft of torque when new. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a 722.5 five-speed automatic transmission.
Additional underside photos are provided in the gallery.
The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage across three owners, with registration history in Florida, Georgia, and Tennessee.

I am also a Mercedes collector. I own the 96 S420. You can not kill these cars. They go on forever! Replace the tires and you are good to go!
The W140 is such an iconic car and makes such a bold statement on the road. I can't help but stare anytime I see one in the wild.

We can help make shipping arrangments.
It would be Tomahawk, WI
Where is the car going ?
Does the seller offer shipping?
The car been in storage since we bought it, it is part of our Mercedes collection , we use our cars for shows and events. This car was used in several TV props. Tires are at least six years old .
Just checked the VMI also shows 93,561 miles at MB of Alpharetta, GA on 5/23/14. Only 931 miles put on in almost 7 years? Unless there's a mileage discrepancy on the VMI *and* Carfax? I'm interested to hear the story on that. Also what what are the date codes on those Michelins? They're looking a bit old and dry...

Picture for the odometer will be posted soon.
It had 93,574 miles in May of 2014, and 94,492 miles as of the listing. Would you mind posting a photo of the odometer?
