Minor stone chips are visible at the front of the car with the seller reporting no signs of rust or body damage.
The 17” 5-hole alloy wheels were recently powder coated in silver and have been fitted with a set of Yokohama Avid Ascend GT tires measuring 245/45 with 2019 date codes. Both front and rear pads and rotors were replaced by the seller in December 2023. The standard Adaptive Damping System provides driver-selectable ride height and stiffness. Additional standard equipment includes ASR slip control and ESP stability control.
The cabin is upholstered in Java Nappa Leather (514) with a contrasting upper dashboard and Chestnut wood trim which lines the center console, gear selector, steering wheel and door panels. Both seats are heated with 10-way power adjustability and three-position memory. The seller reports signs of wear on the driver-side seat bolster. Additional interior amenities include a power tilt/telescope steering column, automatic climate control, cruise control, a pop-up roll bar, a 6-speaker Bose audio system and a trunk-mounted 6-disc CD changer. The handle for the rolling cover over the cupholders is missing and both vanity mirror covers show damaged hinges.
A wood/leather steering wheel fronts analog instrumentation consisting of a 160-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, an analog clock and gauges for fuel level, fuel economy, coolant temperature and oil pressure. The digital odometer currently shows 55k miles from new.
This R129 roadster is powered by a 6.0-liter M120 V12 engine which is rated for 389 horsepower and 420 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed automatic transmission. An engine oil and oil filter change was performed by the seller in preparation for the sale. Underbody photos provided by the seller show limited signs of corrosion.
The Carfax report shows two owners from new with registration reported in Vermont and Massachusetts. No accidents or damage reports appear on the Carfax. I am not sure of the top cylinders have been done, But I looked behind trunk trim panels and looked at cylinders. Seems like they were removed or repaired due to certain marks around the area of the cylinders and pins that hold them.
Have the top cylinders been replaced or serviced?
